“My car was making a weird noise and I went into the shop an hour before the shop closes without appointment. The guys were very nice and down to earth, willing to help even though I showed up last minute without any appointments. Thankfully, the issue was so minor that I was in and out in 10 minutes. They were very fair and they didn't even charge me for it. I appreciated that they were still willing to take a look at it and I was worry-free for rest of the weekend. “My review is late, but better late than never. I have always taken my Toyota to the dealer, its a 2006 Matrix, but in great condition. I was referred to Madison Muffler by a Toyota customer and what stood out about the referral, the guy said, you won't need a lawyer and fair and honest prices. Dave, the owner, explains the work, no diagnostic fee, fair prices, and solid work. Many times, especially for women who aren't mechanically inclined, get taken advantage of and often times pay for work not needed. Trust is everything, especially with your mechanic, and Dave and his staff have my trust. I love my Matrix and whenever I take it to Dave, I'm confident the work will be done right. Madison Muffler installed a catalytic converter and brake work was needed.”

“After moving to Michigan in 2017, I have been searching up and down for a reliable, educated, respectful, and affordable Auto repair shop. About a year and a half ago I discovered JRE Auto. This place has treated me so well. I have been overly impressed every time I have interacted with them. The first thing I can say is that they are very straightforward with realistic time expectations, and they complete the work in a very timely fashion. They do the work very well and competently, and their prices are very affordable. One of the things I really like about this place is that they do not "man-splain" all the mechanic jargon while talking down to me as if I am a complete Nimrod. These people are professional, kind, vibrant, knowledgeable, and very respectful. They talk to you like a human and are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate someone in need. There is a sweet lady there named Kim who works for JRE as a mechanic, she is awesome and always takes very good care of me. I highly recommend this place. For reference, I drive a 15-year-old Volkswagen, they can be very expensive to repair, and this place usually quotes me lower than any other shop in the area, and it's usually at a more affordable price and the turnaround time always surprises me.

“Amazing experience! My 2008 C6 corvette was having harmonic balancer wobbles and I had it done with an ATI from a previous mechanic TWICE and he left the car with many issues and it still wobbling. I take it to this job and they did their due diligence by checking the crank and alignment and found the previous shop installed the balancer incorrectly. They got the job done in 2 days and were extremely nice to me and my father. My father also has a couple cars he needs work on here and there. This shop just earned 2 loyal customers. Reasonable pricing, outstanding customer service. Most mechanics you’ll meet never take accountability and act like know it alls. This shop treats you with respect and does an amazing job along side it. Carl did the work on my car, walked me through everything they checked and was very respectful. Brian is the head guy there and was also very respectful.”

“They waive the deductible on your warranty which was $100 and I'm going to see if I can get my rental car waived to somehow and get a rental car through Enterprise my car is there for transmission service I don't exactly know what it needs in the transmission but they're a dynamite place to go I would recommend it to anybody”

They took the time to pre-wash/rinse our jeep longer than most and at the end spent even longer making sure our car was completely dry at the end. Our car was spotless, picture says it all.”

“6/20/2023: They offer a good basic car wash for $5. It looks like old equipment but they do a pre-scrub and a towel dry at the end so it comes out pretty good. The worse part about going here is trying to make the super sharp left turn to get in.”
