“I had my wedding at The Rust Belt in December 2023 and I have nothing but amazing things to say. First of all Julie is the best! She is quick to respond to emails and was so accommodating and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The wedding itself was amazing from the cocktail hour to the ceremony to the reception! The bar staff was great and the venue looked incredible. I would recommend The Rust Belt over and over again and I hope to attend a wedding here in the future so I can be a guest.”
“I absolutely love this store and have become a regular. If you’ve ever visited your grandmother’s attic, full of old, interesting items rich with history, then you know what I’m talking about. The place is a treasure trove—you need to explore thoroughly so the perfect piece finds you. The prices are affordable, with items to collect and pass down to the next generation, from antique cabinets to intriguing glass bottles and flasks. The friendliness and unique vibe of the place add to the experience. It’s not just about finding something for your home but also learning about the pieces and the history of the business. The amazing staff offer a very personalized approach. What a gem in Detroit!”
“The owner was super nice and they have a wide selection of antiques and collector items. "Other stores get worse ratings because that is all they can get. Sinclair antiques get 5-stars because that's all there is to get..."”
“Friendly, friendly staff with some terrific gems for all kinds of buyers. Someone had good art and photography books, great collections of vintage clothing, drinkware. A bit hard to find with Google Maps.”
“I have a pair of matching lamps that you had to turn, click, hold and jiggle to turn on. He told me the switch was worn out. I took one to be repaired and I was very satisfied. They called a few hours after I dropped the lamp off stating the lamp was ready for pick up. I brought the second lamp with me thinking I would pick it up the next day. When I got there, he told me he would fix it while I waited. I am very satisfied. The repair and customer service is excellent. As I was leaving another customer commented to me how satisfied she was with several repairs they performed for her. I recommend for lamp repair.”

“If you are looking for decorative glass, then this is the place to go and look they have some of the most beautiful glass I have ever seen. Some things are a little pricey, but I'm sure you will find something that fits your budget.”
“We have been to many antique stores, as far as Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Illinois but none we have seen like Alpha Home Decor. The items are unique, well priced and above all, the owner is a wonderful person. We would certainly recommend this store to everyone. Go there. You would love it.”
“It’s very hard to separate Legacy Jewelry from the proprietor Neal! If I was not into estate jewelry, I still think I would find a way to hang out at Legacy. Each time I’ve gone in shopping it’s an entire history lesson in jewelry. He has curated a selection of quite likely some of the finest pieces I’ve ever seen and handled. It’s beyond!I purchased some really great pieces there, as if the pieces were calling to me. I’ve also presented him with some tricky adjustments that he has solved to perfection. If he could not complete it himself he has the connections to make it right. It’s not hard to be there for hours, have a shot or two of some nice scotch. Conversation is great. Do not waste time elsewhere, this is the shop to get something nobody else will ever have. His stones and pieces came from a time where everything was hand done and stones were cut by candlelight. Truly one of a kind in a bland world of factory jewelry and computer cut stones. Enjoy your visit. I sure have.”

“I had a delightful experience at this antique store! The place is filled with an impressive array of wonderful pieces, and despite having items everywhere, it's surprisingly clean and well-organized.
