New to the area and looking for a fruit/vegetable market (not a fan of the grocery store chains for produce).My first time in - January 5, 2024 - and found the fresh selections to be less than expected, maybe 1/3 of the store.Lots of imported items from SE Europe & Middle East, many items I've never seen before but want to try plus numerous known items.I saw no expired items and the produce was fresh and well-priced. The floor was a bit dirtier (maybe it's just the look of the tile?) than it probably should be but not enough to be an issue.There are several coolers with items as well. Plus the fresh made bread, etc.In all, I would think of this as more an eastern Mediterranean grocery than strictly a fruit market. Heck, the selection of teas & cookies is enough to bring me back, not to mention the bulk items and less well-known spices.

The food is good, especially the baked bread straight outta oven. The only problem is the hygiene. The store is not clean and neat. You guys have a lot of potential. Just make sure you invest more on the hygiene and organization of the store.

the store was absolutely disgusting, the store owner and staff were rude and unpleasant to come across with. all the food is rotten and expired and is charged double then what you would pay for. i do not recommend this store if you wanna get good and fresh food, save your money and dont get ripped off by that store.

Check for the expiration date of the items. I bought so many items from here that turned out to be expired.Other than that, it's an okay market.

I agree with the review from "T Smith" saying that they don't acknowledge you at all unless maybe you're Chaldean. I'm brown and I was looked at like an alien. I've come here randomly as the other middle eastern store I shop is on Auburn/Mound (go there they are a lot friendlier) and they treat you like a human. I put my items on the counter and the older lady just looked at me and did not say hi until I said it first. While she rang me up she continued back and forth talking with the younger guy and didn't once look at me until it was time to take my cash. No thank you...no goodbye...Nothing.I left and immediately knew I needed to drive an extra few miles to another middle eastern market. Foreign or not, rude is rude!

I bought delicious bread and fruit that were not the freshest. I bought a Pepsi case for $24.99 get home and today is 7/24/23 and the expiration is March 23 UGH. Try their bread and check Expiration dates. I’ll go back for bread for sure.

I had a bad experience with this place bc I bought some stuff they said it’s 22 and I gave her 22 and she said sorry it’s 25 I gave her another 20 then she gave me changes only $2 and said you gave me only 5 dollars and 2 dollars . I wasn’t even have 5$ in my wallet this is stealing from people man! Be careful when you pay with cash!

They always charge items you don’t buy or double charge an item you are buying and act like they did it by mistake!! Watch out!

Great fresh baked bread and pitas. It was our first time in here and the whole staff was very friendly. They even put a cheese pita in the microwave for my wife to try. Will definitely be going back.

Went in to grab a snack and a drink. Had to use the bathroom. Got kicked out by someone who didn't even speak English and wouldn't let me go pee. Will never shop here again..

First time visiting this store and I can definitely tell the staff and customers are not use to melanin people visiting as they were hecka rude and only stared at me while talking in their language. However, it was this nice lady customer that was VERY helpful and kind. I cannot say that I will be back but the freshly baked bread was good and fairly priced.
