We stayed here for one night, it was ok. The room needed to be updated. The bathtub was rotting thru, and the chair in the room needs a cushion. Wallpaper and carpet from when it was first built. Next time, maybe all the bedding would be cleaned.

I needed a room for extra night, my motel hadn't vacancy, I called Knights Inn. The woman was very kind, & let me check in immediately that early afternoon. My room was clean, had plenty of towels, & wash clothes. They have liquid dial soap dispensers, so nice no "micro-mini" bars of soap! But, no tissues or lotion in room. The room & bathroom were pretty small, but actually of normal size for an older motel, but again my room, was clean. Bed & pillows comfortable, bedspread & sheets clean, no issues. It's an older motel, so if you want updated & a bigger room this isn't the place for you. No hairdryer or microwave in room, but they have hairdyers available in the office & a microwave guests may use. The location is right down from the bridge/park. I had no problem with traffic noise considering it's by the beginning/on ramp of the bridge. I didn't have their breakfast, so can't comment on that. If you want a no frills, just a place to sleep room with kind staff & located by the bridge Knights Inn is a good choice. It is also right next door Audies Restaurant, I've eaten there several times on trips to Mackinaw, good food.

The room was very clean. There was plenty availability. Very nice staff, also had a very simple continental breakfast.

Although the rooms are outdated and furniture is well used, I found my room looking and smelling clean, and the bed comfortable. The room layout was awkward and I had to sit at an angle on the toilet, but overall for a stay on a budget I didn’t mind. As others mention there is some noise from roadway, but I slept well falling asleep to headphones.

Room was disgusting and worn down. All the furniture and electronics were super worn out or didn't work. The bathroom was even worse then the room with mold and bugs everywhere. The free breakfast included a week old bagel and a pack of muffins. Probably the worst hotel I stayed at.

You get what you pay for. The Inn staff is very friendly, it's walking distance to downtown mackinaw city, shuttles go to and from the ferry, it's right near I-75 (last exit before the bridge), rooms were clean.Nearby activities: Downtown Mackinaw CityWalkability: Everything is within 5 miles

Room smelled very musty. Wallpaper was peeling. Holes in the blanket. Only one person running the whole place. Hair on the sheets. Requested new sheets and had to put them on ourselves. No deadbolts on the doors. Breakfast room was the front office. Only yogurt, mini muffins and toast. Did have a fridge in the room. Even though close to the highway, didn't have a problem with road noise.

When I arrived to this hotel, it did look a little rundown. when I got to my room the door was unlocked and wide open and when I walked in I got hit in the face with a very bad musty smell, had to go down to the corner store and pick up a canna Lysol, which I use a quarter of the canned to get rid of the musty smell. Later on in the evening. I did see that there was some wallpaper pulling away from the wall and water damage would not recommend staying at this hotel. This hotel is not a little outdated. It’s a lot outdated.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I refused to walk on the carpet barefooted. It just felt gross. The lamps were dusty. The light switches had built up dirt and dust. The faucet on the sink was dusty and finger printed. I was truly uncomfortable touching anything in the room when common touched items were clearly not cleaned. The details matter. I’m really not a germaphobe so honestly I tried to not let it bother me but I couldn’t help but to wonder when the last time some of these surfaces were truly deep cleaned and disinfected instead of someone just coming in and making it look clean at first glance. I guess you get what you pay for though, I just had higher standards.

Not quite as pictured, but AC was adequate and staff friendly. Location is great and able to walk everywhere.
