The older man working behind the counter was very unprofessional and quite frankly embarrassed himself. We asked if they accepted returns and they said yes. (Mind you, this was the same day that we bought the merchandise) We got started and put a few things on the counter and then he asked why we were returning. We simply had changed our minds and apparently that was not a good enough reason. He got all upset and flustered and pushed the clothes back across the counter and said ‘well that’s just too bad.’ Thankfully there was another lady there that worked very quickly to de-escalate the situation and proceeded with our return.
They accept returns. It should have been a very simple process. I work hard for my money and can spend it how I choose. If I could give zero stars to him, I would. Definitely will not visit this store again.

We could have spent our money anywhere on the island, but we loved the inventory at The Big Store! The people are so kind and willing to help you with a smile on their faces. They respect their customers and give you a great shopping experience!

A nice place to grab souvenirs. It was not that busy but staff were having trouble moving the line along. Seems like they were a bit confused as to what to do.

This place is really the best source on the entire island for souvenirs. I bought a cap and shirt for myself and my son back in 2017 and they are both great quality and have held up well even today, 5 years later. A couple of weeks back, we went to the Big Store again, after visiting many other shops, and again, they have the best bargains on quality merchandise. I bought another cap and another shirt and both are good quality and both were half the price of other shops. Never encountered this "grumpy old man" person on either trip that has been mentioned in other reviews. We went in twice on the recent trip and this store really has the best bargains island-wide.
