Stopped in to look around in July and fell in love with the feel. But more importantly I was impressed by the sheer variety of items. The variety not only is a plus to those who live there full time or seasonally but also for the tourist like me. The staff was super friendly which made buying that much more enjoyable.Something must be going in their favor when they clearly are America’s oldest grocery store!!

It was our first time to Mackinac Island. We weren't sure what to expect, but Douds grocery store wowed us. The prices were good and the selection of their stock was great!

We were going to be on Mackinac Island for our granddaughter‘s fourth birthday. We called ahead to see if Douds could make her a cake. They were extremely responsive and helpful. The cake was both beautiful and delicious. Thank you!!

Doud's gets it done every time, every single time. Friendly staff, good vibes, tasty food, and beverages. If I need a few things, or a quick snack, maybe even an apple for my team, I will be there. Giddy-up

Lots to choose from, including produce and baked goods. Juices, treats, and groceries. They had several vegan bakery treats. Service was fine, prices were high but what do you expect on an island.

Very nice grocery store on the island. Clean and well stocked. We got some fresh fruit for the ride home (grapes and berries that were so fresh and tasty).

They had a cooler that we needed which was great for taking home the fish we caught on EUP Charters. Nice little store, perfect for the travelers trying to save a little money on food while staying on the island.

Amazing grocery store. Grab a salad, sandwich,pizza slice and bike the island. Stop to eat your items with an amazing view.

What a great affordable find on Mackinac island! We discovered the pizza slices at the back of the store. They were less than $4 each. It was very quick service & the pizza was good. We were on a 50 minute wait for a restaurant that was going to be a minimum of $25 each. I went back later in the day for a snack. They also have hot & cold sandwiches as well as all kinds of groceries. We took our pizza & sat nextdoor at the park.

Doud’s had about everything we needed for grocery trips and small things like bug spray that we forgot. Highly recommend especially considering it is the only real grocery store on the island.

They have everything you need and it’s reasonable. However, what the real point of this review is: you NEED to grab before leaving a home made cookie (sugar, chocolate chip or m/m) whoopie pie. Once you get your fill of fudge or ice cream, go pick one or container up. You will not regret it.

Excellent resort grocery. As another reviewer said, it's so much better than what I found on the mainland. They had a good small meat section for one thing. Decent produce for another. I didn't hate shopping there! Got two items for dinner and carried them back on the ferry.
