The owner was so kind and helped our family find our way to things faster and wasn't pushy about buying. She actually recommended us stop back to buy when we were done with our walk. Prices were unbeatable wish I bought more now that I'm home. I would recommend buying from here if on the island. We will be back and will be looking for the store in the future!

Awesome little shop. The owner was very helpful and provided some excellent recommendations on where to go and the background of some of the shops and the families that run them.
Great prices. They had bottled water for $1.

This was the best shop that we found on the island. It’s worth walking over one block from Main St. The shirts and sweatshirts were the best price we found, and they were softer than anything else we came across. The owner was so friendly, and she gave us lots of tips for touring the island. Definitely plan a stop here!

My guy and I were day trippers to the island. We split up to get our interests covered. The gentleman at this shop was beyond amazing. I stopped to get directions to the post office. He was beyond helpful. My guy stopped for bottled water, I think. He helped him with something as well. Great little shop. Great offerings. But, most importantly, great guy working there. I didn't get your name but thank you!

I highly recommend stopping in to this little shop. The prices are very reasonable and the owners are so friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice for things to do on the island and really improved our trip.

Shop contains your normal souvenirs - the interesting thing about this shop are the owners. They are very knowledgeable about the island and it's history and were really nice people tp talk to. Was very happy that we had stopped into their shop and took the time to listen to all that they had to share about the island.

I really liked this small boutique because it had some unique gifts at reasonable prices. I bought several gifts for my family and since they were bulky items, the store owner, Patty, offered to mail the package for me. I gave her the address and asked her to let me know when it was mailed. After I arrived home and two weeks went by, I called patty she said her phone broke and she couldn't call me. Said something about the post office wouldn't let her mail the costume jewelry. So I said mail the rest. I called her back to ask if she mailed it. As soon as I said my name she hung up! I have not been able to get a hold of her since nor did I get my things. I'm extremely disappointed that I trusted Patty to do what she said. I would NOT recommend this business for its dishonesty and poor customer service.

This is a small little gift shop run by a very kind little old lady. It is on Market street, one street up from the main street on the island. We looked in a lot of the gift shops and found a lot of the same things. For example, we found the same Christmas ornaments in most of the stores. However, The Birches had the cheapest prices, and some variants we didn't see in the other stores. She also had some post cards we liked that none of other stores had. I'd strongly recommend going a little out of your way to visit here if you are souvenir shopping.
