Refused to send out my package without an up charge but it was already weighed by an employee before we bought the sticker

0 stars if I could and multiple reviews of this place being awful.
We weighed our wedding invites at the HIGHLAND post office before we bought stamps to make sure that we could send them out without any problems.
The next day we went to this post office in New Hudson to send them out. The lady there REFUSED to send our invites out and tried to charge my fiancé an extra $44 dollars to ship out invites!!!
Needless to say- we went to the HIGHLAND post office and they sent them out without the $44 up charge and they were nice and decent humans.
The lady in that post office is awful, Definitely need a new person in there.
I went there again today and the same lady here in New Hudson tried charging me extra to send out four invitations.
Never coming back here again. Awful service

I just watched our USPS driver tear down our road, pull up our driveway, and then leave our package on the roof of our car! We have an easily accessible front porch and a garage! If I wasn't home to see it, I don't know how long it would have taken us to notice it there. It's not a car we drive every day, it's an SUV, and I'm short. It could have sat for days.

How the heck are all the reviews for this Post Office not 5 star? I don't even live in N.H., and I go out of my way to go here. Always kind, prompt, helpful and professional. Much faster in and out than the others too.

What a nightmare...Thank goodness Dawn stepped in to take care of me. Dawn was super friendly but whoever the other person was working the front with grayish blond hair and glasses is sooo rude. How about she works just on delivering mail and not with people up front. I was asked if I was sending out a package I said yes and than she asked me if I had a qr code. No and than she gave me a sharpie with attitude and walked away

We LOVE the New Hudson post office. Dawn & Katie are the very best. Their customer service is so much better than the South Lyon post office.They helped fix the mess that South Lyon post office created with our passports. They delivered our passports in soaking wet envelopes & did NOTHING to help our family.Thankful for New Hudson post office!

I asked a question about my change of address and was told by one of the employees, "you can't change your address." I then went to the Brighton Post Office where a kind gentleman explained the process to me and gave me a simple form to fill out and turn in. The New Hudson post office seems like its employees don't care about helping and are lazy, as my issue only required a small form. Thank you, Brighton!

Went to this post office with same situation at different times. 3 employees. One just grabbed and said have a nice day, other said I needed tape and the other said it had to be sealed and label affixed. Lazy or lack of training. Hugs are free and this last lady obviously isn't getting any!

I have lived in New Hudson the last 8 and a half years. Before that my parents had a PO Box for years since they moved out here in 1976.I have lived in this area since 2001. This is a small, personable, township office. I like the friendly service every time.

Worst run branch in the area. Employees will pick people out of line to have chats with, while longer waiting customers have to just sit there listening to their rants.
