Walgreens is a pharmacy where customers can refill prescriptions, shop for health and beauty products, and get photos printed. The pharmacy hours are Monday through Sunday from 8am to 10pm. Reviews note the store and pharmacy lines are often very long and slow, with waits frequently taking one to five hours. Customers report it takes forever to get waited on and the phone often goes unanswered, which is aggravating. Some feel there seems to be enough staff but wonder why service remains slow, suggesting dedicated roles for phone and register service. However, many staff members are described as friendly, caring, and providing great customer service. Several reviews highlight instances where pharmacy staff went above and beyond to help, showing positive and helpful attitudes. A specific experience involved a staff member who noticed a problem with a prescription, did some digging to solve it, and helped customers in need. While the slow service and long lines are a consistent concern, the caring actions of individual employees make customers feel better about the service and relaxed during their visit.
Not the shiniest or most well-stocked Walgreens I've ever been to, but 5 stars for Krista, one of their pharmacists. She helped me through some medication side effects I was experiencing and made me feel very comfortable despite the embarrassing subject matter. Super knowledgeable and helpful as we talked through options.
