We spent three nights at this B&B- great base camp for our ROADTRIP!
First- the POSITIVES! We were SO HAPPY to have ROOM #1 on the MAIN FLOOR so as not to have to schlep lugguage up flights of stairs! Our king bed was comfy and AC perfect! The “soaking tub/shower combo” would be dangerous for anyone with Mobility issues or anyone who could not hike their leg over the tall tub. But, water was HOT and pressure was good! The room was pretty small but adequate for our needs! The FULL BREAKFASTS are the winning ticket here with the best service and NICEST PEOPLE! The food varied all three days and was YUMMY! The gardens and fire pit were wonderful as well- along with beautiful flowers. It is a very well kept area!
The Inn has been in business for over 20 years so they are obviously doing MANY THINGS RIGHT‼️
Cons- morning traffic noise, shower tub combo with shower curtains(?!?) Roku television system.?

We stayed here overnight on a nostalgia trip. I grew up vacationing in Ludington, and I wanted to share that with my wife, so I booked a night here to use as a base for our trip. It was fantastic. The people were welcoming and amenable. We needed some dishes washed after dining on the beach, and the staff wouldn't let us wash them ourselves. They cleaned up the dishes for us as we ate a stunning breakfast - seriously, how was that smoothie so good!? The quiche was fantastic, and we loved everything about coming here.
Rooms: The building creaks like it should. It was quaint in all the right ways with comfortable rooms, a fantastic bed, and so many period-perfect details that the house just oozed history.
Nearby activities: We drove down to the ice cream shop that is about a mile away, but it would've been a nice walk, too. Lots of shopping all the way down to the beach.

What can’t you say about this place. First and foremost they are most gracious hosts and provided an amazing experience. My wife and I went for her birthday weekend and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the bed and breakfast. The rooms were very quant and charming and even had a hot tub in the bathroom. The bed was amazingly comfortable and having a fireplace to lay in front of and keep warm in the snow was awesome. The food was good when we did choose to eat there as we went and explored the great area of Ludington. I definitely recommend staying here on any visit for a getaway.
Nearby activities: Ludington State Park, walking along the beach, going to the pier. Swimming in Lake Michigan.

My wife and I definitely don't recommend this place. We couldn't make it there to carferry not running and we did cancel our room. Very rude owner. Definitely won't stay

My room was clean, cute, and comfy! I had room #2, it has a fireplace which was perfect during my snowy stay. Julia is an awesome cook, each breakfast was delicious! The house itself is just too sweet. I'll definitely come back!

All these updates are AMAZING ? Such lovely innkeepers and a homey atmosphere ? Definitely turning our ideas of a typical B&B on its head! Victorian Era, welcome to the 21st century ?

Highly Recommended, I would stay here again... Rather than at any motel. The accommodations are too many to list. Check out there website. Dogs are Welcome. You can have a campfire in the lovely garden area. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. I hope you try this out sometime, especially if you like a place that is like home ❤️
