My mother last Thursday went to the Walmart in Livonia, MI where she shops frequently. She purchased a bissell crosswave pet pro for $250 along with other items. When she got home late that evening she opened the box and took out the floor cleaner only to realize that it was not only extremely dirty and used but it was also the wrong type of machine it was not the bissell crosswave pet pro. It was already past store hours by the time she realized all of this so she went the next day on Friday to return the machine. At customer service she waited in line for awhile and when it came to her turn the women told her one moment then went to the back. My mother waited roughly ten minutes before the women came back. When my mother explained the situation the women told her I can’t help you let me go get somebody. She then brought up a coworker who also said she couldn’t help. After an hour of waiting and being told by different staff they couldn’t help somebody finally went and got the manager. The manager came and my mother explained again the situation and that she would like to get the bissell crosswave pet pro what she initially paid $250 for. The manager proceeded to blatantly call my mother a thief and a liar multiple times. My mother had the receipt and she was back less than 24 hours after purchase where they could have easily watch the cameras if they felt that type of way. She was extremely upset and publicly humiliated for something she didn’t do let alone has ever done in her life. The manager gave her a 1-800 number and told her to call. She did and the gentleman on the other end of that phone call was irritated and upset because it wasn’t a number to be given out to customers it was for the manager of that store to call to discuss the situation to resolve the issue. They said they will be calling back within 24-48 hours. She ended up having to leave with the dirty wrong machine and she bought another one. Thankfully the second one she bought was brand new and the correct machine. I myself wouldn’t have purchased another machine at that location or any other Walmart. Nonetheless we will no longer be shopping at that particular location (Plymouth and Middlebelt) and maybe just stop shopping at Walmart in general.

Went in for a birthday cake and all the barcodes were folded in half. I brought this to the attention of the check out attendant and she stated “nothing I can do. Either get a different cake or have them print off a new bar code.” Weird, I remembered the price and meijer always honors missed bar codes. She didn’t apologize or offer assistance. She just basically told me it was my problem. Never coming to Walmart again. Meijer is far superior in every way including customer service.

Why have several workers in the auto department but you only service one car an hour seems silly to make us all wait, can’t get any emergency service done cuz all the workers are working on the one car per hour together ??♀️??♀️?very poor customer service skills as well I miss my hometown?

Walmart needs to add seating areas when we have to wait for 1 person at the register, although there are 12 spots with no employees helping us cash out. While the other employees walk around. Make 1 person do all the work, and my milk will be spoiled before I get to the car.

Your receipt policy is completely asinine.
First trip to this store after just moving to the area in the last week. Spent $500 on groceries, waited for a checkout attendant for several minutes multiple times because of your over-sensitive self checkouts, then after our ice cream and frozen foods were thawed and melting we were harrassed in the parking lot by security over refusal to show our receipt in our way out. Everything we had that could fit in a bag was in a bag, everything was paid for, a checkout attendant had to help us with the payment because of the broken machine. There was no reason to stop us and threaten to call police for not showing a receipt. Hire more cashiers or have more than 2 people working the front of the store if your that worried about theft.
Will not be returning.

The cashiers was very polite. The employee Ray is very beautiful and sweet. I'm so glad that Walmart started putting chairs for them to sit on

I got my first ever grocery pick up from this location and they gave me a reduced price chicken that was ice cold, made 3 days prior according to the writing on the top right corner, AND they took the clearance sticker off the bottom so they could scan the original barcode and charge me full price. Not only that, but they forgot one of my items, and one of the other items was damaged. Customer service was able to refund me, but I won’t be doing pick up from Walmart again.

Go somewhere else (Walmart). For curbside pickup. They got people parked in the numbers but no one in the cars? Only two open

I can get in and out fast with what I want. I like that. No matter how many people are in there, I can get in and out fast.
