If I could rate negative stars I would. I tried to get security doors installed on my house because I am a single, 27 year old woman constantly having break ins and live in a bad neighborhood. They couldn’t seem to get the measurements together, I waited 4 months calling and trying to get them to come take the measurements, even offered to send the measurements myself. After having to physically go to Home Depot and call around several times, I was informed that my order was too old and I would have to make a new one. Home Depot, I’m begging you to find a new third party! These people can’t even take measurements! Completely useless company!

They go by CFI Installations now, but the number is the same. I ordered carpet through Home Depot and after reading reviews I was worried. My experience was the exact opposite of all the other reviews. They arrived on schedule and did a great job installing the carpet and hauling away the old stuff. The only inconvenience was that they had a 2 month backlog for install but its done now and I am pleased.

They were supposed to come from 8-12, no show. I called and they said 3, no show again. I called again and was told they would be there at 6pm for a 5-6 hour job. I told them I don’t want them to be in my house that late. I took off work to wait around 10 hours already. They told me it was my choice for them to not come at 6pm, so it would be another week before they can reschedule, instead of coming first thing in the morning. I got a refund at that point. The incompetence with this company is laughable. If they didn’t have the Home Depot contract they would be out of business with how they treat “customers”. Some of us have real jobs with consequences. Must be nice to be able to have no repercussions. Avoid them and Home Depot carpet installation like the plague!

Home Depot sent this company to do my install. And as they pulled up the carpet for some reason it took the wall with it. They have not responded to my requests to fix the damage their installers created! The scheduling company did reach out and I got a settlement to fix the walls.

The actual installers were fine. Showed up and were nice. But the customer service representative were EXTREMELY Rude. My Quartz Counter Tops chipped 3 months after installation and they said it was not under warranty... They made me pay to have a tiny chip filled and took 2 WEEKS to even set this up. When I finally was called to set up the time, the woman was very rude. Will not go through them/Home Depot ever again.

First experience was with measuring for new doors, which was performed to fast and inaccurately. I insisted on a 2nd measurement by a different person and after 3 days of telephone calls to different "supervisors" they finally agreed to a 2nd measurement and the measurement results were very different. When the new doors finally arrived at Home Depot, the installer called and said the first available appointment for installation would be in 5 weeks from now.So I ordered the doors in August and they're scheduled to be installed at the end of November.I have zero confidence this install will be completed to my satisfaction... but I paid Home Depot 3 months ago so I have no choice now.

If there is zero or negative star option I will definitely go with it. We start a countertop replacement project with Home depot in early June and Home depot out-sourced the project to this company, after four months wait and 5 times onsite work & measurement, my counter top is finally done yesterday. They kept measuring and delivering the wrong size quartz, I've totally made more than 20 times calls during this project and every time they said they would call me the second day to give me updates, then ending up with no calls at all. I called Home depot and the people from Home depot actually were polite and trying to work it out but there were not much they can do besides calling (the lady I worked with in Home depot said she was speechless about how this company is performing the work), just don't understand why this company is still hired by Home depot. NEVER EVER choose home depot to do your countertop knowing they are using this Ultimate Installation (used to be United Home Service). Have had more than than projects done to my home and this one is the worst.

I give it a "0" star! Do not use this company, nor Home Depot (who uses them as a 3rd party installer). The company has horrible customer service. When they called to schedule the installation, they offered me free bronze transition pieces, and said I'd have to pick up in store (no big right? Well in store, there's no bronze, and then I'd have to pay...). The home dept employee was helpful and was going to give me a piece, but the UHS employee Tara, told us I was LIED to and there was never an option for bronze and I DIDN'T even need a transition piece.. so I wasted 2 hours of my time at Home Depot trying to figure this out the day before install.. now mind you, the phone number on all my paperwork and emails for UHS was wrong as well.. the number goes to a scam saying I won a free gift card and to have my credit card handy.. HD didn't believe me.. on the phone with Tara in store, she stated they could not install one of my rooms since the hardwood surface wasn't done, but I was told 8 weeks ago, it wouldn't be a problem.. so that was a whole long debate that the HD employee dealt with thankfully.. fast forward 12 hours to day of install.. 8:50am I finally get a call from UHS (telling me when they would be here), Tara tells me (rudely) that they are cancelling our install because of a "family emergency". When I asked why, she wouldn't tell me and told me it was a 2 man crew installing and they wouldn't send just 1 man out.. now we were having 1800sq ft of carpet installed.. in ONE DAY they told me 8 weeks ago, and that it would be a large crew to install.. so I was shocked and surprised to hear it was a 2 man crew.. when I asked when it would be installed, she couldn't even tell me when and would have to "get back with me".. when I asked if it would be another 6-8weeks, she said "uhh I don't know, hopefully not"... so I called HD and spoke with the employee who helped me yesterday, and she was upset.. after 6 hours, I drove to HD and talked to her.. needless to say, she was not able to get anything figured out, and she told me they had 5 other busted jobs this week alone, that something similar has happened to.. we CANCELED our install and got our FULL REFUND back.. I asked to speak to the manager of flooring to discuss this issue further. This is UNACCEPTABLE! And considering we had to move some of our furniture ourself (per our quote), we now have a house that is crammed into 2 rooms and have to unpack everything, to redo this all when we find a more reputable installer. What a waste of our time, energy, and money. Also, if you do use them, and they have to come back to finish installing, HD told me to store the carpet myself, because UHS frequently loses carpet when this happens..

I wish I could "0" stars. This company has absolutely no problem solving skills. They called me 30 minutes before close, the day before carpet was to be installed to cancel. I called back the next day (day of original installation) to talk to their "Flooring Expeditor", Tara. She said she would give me a call back later that week and was going to work on getting a crew to work the weekend to have it installed. Instead of pushing me out to the 29th like she originally wanted. Never got a call back and here I am on the 21st calling them again to at the very least confirm the 29th. Now the best they can do is the 11th of July. Absolutely absurd. We now plan to just cancel the install all together since no one there seems to have any problem solving skills. Unfortunate that Home Depot uses them to outsource their work.I asked the question: So, If I were to order 5 day carpet from home depot, what would you do, since you are so backed up? Her response. "We would bump someone".. Looks like we keep getting "bumped"

Through the Home Depot, United installed Pergo in my home. The installers were on time, worked diligently and communicated with me throughout the time they were there. When the job was completed, they also took great care in cleaning up both inside and outside the house. I would have them back without hesitation.

Some of the worst most unprofessional people that I have ever worked with. I had an appointment scheduled through home depot to have my carpets installed on a Wednesday and was told that they would call me the morning of and let me know what time they would be over to install. By noon they had not called me so I reached out to them and the lady on the phone told me that my appointment was most likely cancelled. She looked it up and to her surprise it wasn't cancelled. She told me that she would reach out to the installer and then call me back. Two hours pass by and still no call back, so I reached back out to them and she told me that they would be over around 3:30. The installers ended up not showing up until 5:00 pm. Then the installer told me that they did not have the proper tools to remove the carpets in my basement because they were glued to the concrete. He went and purchased the tools he needed but half way through removing the old carpets he told me that he would not be able to finish the job that same day and started making excuses as to why he couldn't. Saying things like it has been a long last couple of days and scrapping all this glue off the concrete is a lot of extra work and most installers would have just left. He told me that he would be able to come back on Saturday of the same week to finish the job and again he would call me in the morning to let me know when he would be there. Saturday comes around and he doesn't call me till 12:30 pm and tells me that he is doing another job in Kalamazoo and it is going to take a long time. He stated that he would still be over to my house to finish the job but not till around 6:00 pm and that he would probably be done by 10:00 pm. I tell him that I am not happy about it but I am on a dead line and need to have the carpets in this house so we can move in so to go a head and be here by 6:00. So by 7:00 pm the installer has not arrived and I call his phone but he does not answer. The installer never showed up and he did not call at all to let me know that he was not coming. I called home depot and they said that they have had a lot of issues with the installation company and are in the process of switching to a new company. So Monday rolls around and I reach out to Ultimate installations and they tell me that the next available install time isn't for another two weeks. This company is an absolute joke. They are rude, unprofessional, and do not care about customer satisfaction at all. If I knew that home depot used this awful company I would have gotten carpets from some where else. Thankfully home depot is switching to a new company but if anyone else is thinking about doing business with ultimate installations they should look into other options. All this company will do is screw you over and give you a giant head ache.

This business is the worst. It's impossible to reach them and they don't respond to messages left. Home Depot needs to drop them now. The work was fine on my floor but it took forever to get done. They hire someone from out state and they started late each morning. My calls of frustration to Ultimate went un answered. Today , I am waiting for the call that their coming with my counter top. It's 12;35 pm and haven't heard a word. Needless to say I can't reach them. BTW, this has been rescheduled from last Friday the 21st. avoid these people at all cost. and don't have Home Depot tell you otherwise. Get the price from HD then have a local guy install.

If I could have selected ZERO stars, I would have! My husband and I paid for countertops in January and today it's March 21, 2017 and we still don't have our countertops!!! United (formerly known as Ultimate Installations) rescheduled once and did an actual NO CALL NO SHOW the second time. Our initial communication with United was awful...what rude staff members they have answering the phones. It's a shame that Home Depot affiliates themselves with United because they make Home Depot look really bad!I'm begging all readers to take heed of what you read. My husband and I read all the negative reviews but still took a chance because Home Depot promised to handle any situations that could arise. Well, Home Depot is helping but so far, there isn't much they can do. So disappointed with Home Depot and so disgusted with United Home Services....
