I hadn't been to Stan's in years. Ours had moved out of Westland eons ago. I happened on one yesterday. So clean and bright ! Cashier was very friendly.

This place is embarrassingly overpriced and underdelivering. Take a look at this example of the green onions on the right. They are asking almost $2 for this sad, rotted, scrap. On the left is what you can get literally anywhere else for no more than 99 cents.

Stan's is Great. It is the local supermarket I grew up with and is vanishing. I hardly ever go to Krogers anymore or Bushs. Best thing.... they have Kowalski products. Boars Head no no no. I want Kowalski. I do not mind paying higher to keep them in business. Good selection for basics. Old time meat counter. No Long Lines which is great and no self checkout that I hate. Surprise they use Apple Pay and Kroger does not. Any negative comments were years past. Between Fresh Thyme and Stans I am all set. Plus I like their store brand.

My son shopped there to make lunch on Mother’s Day. The packaged tomatoes he bought were molded on the bottom.One of the packed ground beef smelled awful and spoiled.Be careful shopping here!

Stan's is my go-to for everyday items. The produce is fresh and the meat counter is great. Wish they had a larger deli selection.
