Nice building is all I can say about Plymouth Food (and Liquor) Store. The backwoods name really says it all. Having just moved to Livonia October 2020, I have been in this store for a total of ONLY three times in 13.3 months, INCLUDING TONIGHT, same guy each and every time I've been in. First time, he takes a picture/video of me--from behind his bullet proof glass, with his cell phone as I approach the counter for an easy pick lottery ticket. Feeling racially profiled, I vow to myself never to come back only I pull up a 2nd time several months later for an easy pick lottery ticket, not having recognized that it's the same location that I vowed to myself never to come back to but this time he was at least cordial. So, I reconcile that the 1st time I was just a new face and he really wants to get to know his customers TONIGHT, however, I walk in and cover my mouth to protect my asthmatic lungs from the cloud of cigarette smoke that attacked me as I breached the threshold of the door, again, for an easy pick lottery ticket. I jokingly say to him "It smells like a cigarette factory in here tonight." Guess what this tall white male probably in his early to mid-40s looking a lot older, and is likely working at someone else's liquor store, had the audacity to say to me??? He said "It was probably someone who came in here smoking (REALLY?!) but if you don't like it, DON'T COME BACK." (I'm a 53yr old well-dressed black female with two masters degrees and a background in finance, by the way) I graciously said "I won't." He had the further audacity to insist on the last word, undeservedly so, and said "GOOD." WTH FMPO: Beware of this "gentleman" at this store (27600 PLYMOUTH RD, LIVONIA, 48150)
