Was a little disappointed that I didn't receive a call on the status of my vehicle. I got a ride to drop it off and needed it to go and pick it up. The time told to me came and went so my ride had things to do so they just took a chance. My car wasn't ready, so they just dropped me off.Something had happened to the phone service there, but the associate was talking on his cellphone. Maybe he could've given me a quick call??♀️But if not, that wasn't as upsetting as what I walked into. There was a child running around in the bay area around my car and the tech was sitting in a chair. When I asked the front guy about how much longer on my car...the tech popped up then went to my car. I sat in that shop until closing time after dropping it off when they opened.Could it have been done before that time, I don't know...but seeing what I saw it made me wonder.Two previous "installs" came in with complaints on what they had done. The tech was there by himself because the other guy had left the premises. One guy left but the other stayed. The front guy came back and had a conversation outside with the guy that stayed.Anyway since it was closing time I got a quick demo on the alarm operation. I was fine with that because it was an upgrade from the exact Viper I left on my Wrangler when I sold it. Got home and parked it for a couple of days. When I went to use the starter, it'd run for a minute or so, and then turn off. It wasn't giving the "double chirp" sound when you hit the disarm either; which was noticeable.So on my next day off (week later) I brought it in and explained what was going on. The same guy was there and I followed him out to my car. He knew right away what the problem was. I was told it wasn't even programmed.I was pleasant and thought about the two other customers that came back as well...but I just wanted to get it done and enjoy the rest of my day. I did the start in the shop while we chatted to see if it would cycle through; which it did.I'm sure they must do good work to be open longstanding at that location, but this was my experience.

Very laid back type of vibe. But you will be out in 45 min! I needed a completely new radio, didn’t even have time to order a sandwich before they were done! Was about $400.

Now, I may be jumping the gun a little bit on this by writing this review now, but I brought my Harley Davidson in to have an audio upgrade on Saturday September 23rd. It is now Wednesday September 27th and I have yet to get my bike back. And when I did call to get an update I was told that one of the brand new speakers that had just come in was "no good". Now, I'm not saying that it's impossible, but it's a brand new speaker! I'm having a $1600 upgrade done to my bike and day's later it's still not finished?? Now, I'm no audio expert but I don't figure it takes 3 or 4 day's tto run wire, install an Amp and install 4 speakers. And when I asked if I could pick it up tomorrow sind it was going to be 80 degrees this weekend and all next week I was told "I'll see what I can do. Not what I expected or wanted to hear. "To be better you must do better" is all I'm saying.

I called to get a quote for replacing my stock car stereo, the guy I spoke to was super polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. If/when I need mine replaced, I'm definitely going to have it done here.

as much as I thank them for their hard work, this was an extremely terrible experience! after scheduling my appointment over a week an advance, I dropped my car off at 9 AM when they opened. They quoted 2-4 hours. I thought that was pretty long but I understand they have other costumers. After no updates around 3pm I called and they informed me that they just started on my car and to come at closing time at 6pm. I got there and it STILL wasn’t finish. Over 8 hours for a remote start? So disappointing.

This Mickey Shorr location did an amazing job installing my dash cam and stereo system. I originally came in just to have a dash cam installed, but an amazing salesman/manager/installer named Paymon sold me on a new type of stereo that is a major upgrade from my previous factory stereo. I am SO glad he talked me into it! The new stereo sounds phenomenal, and Paymon and his team did an amazing job with the installation. And because it was a new system that he wasn't completely familiar with, he took the time to do the necessary research to make sure it was done right. And did I mention that the pricing was VERY reasonable for the work they did? I cannot say enough good things about this Mickey Shorr (Livonia, MI). That kept me updated on the progress, everything was flawless with the install, and Paymon took the time to explain everything to me about how my dash cam and new stereo system works. Excellent service across the board. I highly recommend this location for your car electronics installs!

Worst store visit in memory. Stopped in to see what they carried for mobile communication. Attendant couldn't be bothered to answer questions and when finally roused had zero knowledge of any mobile two-way communication products. Useless.

It took a minute, but we'll worth the wait. Pay (the mgr.) got my speakers in and I'm very pleased about my experience. I originally had speakers put in around the beginning of the year at a different Mickey Shore. When I stopped there for another matter they let me know my right speaker was no longer working, but still under warranty. Well, it seems for whatever reason (Covid, shipping etc) they no longer carried those speakers. Pay made some calls and gave me an upgrade along with a new warranty. I showed up for my appointment and a few hours later my speakers work great.They're show room has all the extra boom boom for your car. Speakers in every size & shape with lots to choose from. They'll also do remote car lock and start. Great place to go to give your ears some listening pleasure
