The delivery department is running a scam. If they are delivering anything larger (wood/ metal sheets etc) each thing requires a pallet. There is an $80 "refundable" fee PER pallet. The pallets are 16' long - they will NOT pick them up. They will not accept them if broken down at all. They already charge a large delivery fee AND I have to pay for the planks the company uses to deliver the material? Absolute scam.The first person I talked to on the phone said I could cut into 2 8' pallets. When I called back to double check that I would get a full refund - this person said the first had no idea what they were talking about. I explained I had not way to return 16' pallets -he scoffed and obnoxious said - I assume you used a trailer to pick them up. Guess he forgot they could deliver.To use the rebate you have to jump through stupid crazy hoops and there is a very short window

I purchased a 55 gal hot water tank for 900 and some change, the box was never touched as it was NOT picked up from the store. Turns out I purchase the wrong type. The new hot water tank I WAS going to purchase was going to cost 1136. The managers would not refund the restocking fee of 25% (or $237.00) with my re-election eventhough the boxed item was NEVER OPENED NOR LEFT THEIR WAREHOUSE. The service desk couldn't use my order number barcode in my email to refund the rest of my money to me, instead I had to use a kiosk that printed the exact same barcode that was in my email, in order to get my refund. The service desk person wasn't originally going to refund the warranty I ALSO purchased without my insisting she did. Needless to say Menards could have potentially made $1300.00 off my sale but I chose to do business elsewhere due to their lack of customer appreciation.

It’s been a total disaster for order and pick up. I ordered my cabinets in store and was told that once I pay, they will start getting my order ready, and I can come back anytime I want to pick it up. After 3 days, I came back to pick up my order. I also called ahead of time to make sure my order is ready to be picked up and the answer I got is yes. When I arrived, they said the order was never pulled and I need to wait for they to go around to collect my order. This is totally ridiculous. People here don’t seen they know what they are doing and I have been getting different information from different staff.

Very disappointed. Spent $1000 on wood and other items. Worst customer service throughout entire store. All workers complained about helping me. Nobody could direct me appropriately. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s Sunday morning, but unacceptable. I’m debating whether or not I should speak with a manager. Will gladly give my business elsewhere next time.

Couldn’t get a single person to help us. The people we did ask for help treated us as an inconvenience the entire time. I’m sorry to cut into your social/phone hour, but I thought this was a place of business. I have never been scoffed at, had eyes rolled at me or encountered worse attitudes in my life all because I asked for help. We spent close to $2k here today and I’m so dissatisfied. Definitely taking my business to Lowe’s in the future.

I visited Menards in Livonia, Michigan. Upon entering the building, a security guard greets you at a security bar, and opens it to allow you to enter the store. The guard was very courteous and professional. The store was clean and well organized. I was looking for outdoor Christmas decorations. They had a huge variety to choose from. However, their prices were very expensive in comparison to their competitors.

I ordered a replacement glass window for my door and the scheduled time of delivery was supposed to be 5-7 days..well its been 3-4 weeks and i still havent received my product. And every time i call to see when it arrives..the staff gives me a hard time. I've lost a ton of respect for menards and their customer service

After this mornings nightmare, this is the last time we will be using this menards ever again. All of our future business, including our new builds, will be going to the Warren location where they know how to take care of contractors. All contractors be warned about this location.
