The only thing I want to say about this location is they'll go out of their WAY to make you look like a criminal, ESPECIALLY when it was/is an HONEST MISTAKE, after reading these terrible reviews it appears some of the REAL CROOKS actually work at this location....

Placed a pickup order for fence pallets and was horrified when we found the right product — two piles of pallets with broken planks, rotted wood, etc. The pallets that didn’t look like they were deteriorated actually were and literally fell apart upon trying to move them. They were on clearance but Menards conveniently failed to list that they’re unusable. You’re wasting peoples time and misleading them by selling these as listed.

The store carries practically anything that you could possibly need but some of the employees needs to be better trained in the department that they work specifically lumber because I ordered some wood online went in to pick it up and the clerk sent me outside in 90° weather to find it and it was located inside the store so you know I was pissed because that was time that I could have spent on the road taking care of something else

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mernards in livonia. I was wrongly accused of shoplifting by a staff member during my visit on June 2nd 2024. Despite my honest behavior and willingness to cooperate, I was treated with disrespect and humiliation.
The staff member’s accusations were baseless and their attitude was accusatory and unprofessional. This incident not only ruined my shopping experience but also caused me unnecessary embarrassment and distress.
I expect a higher standard of customer service and professionalism. I will not be returning to this store and would advise others to avoid it as well. No customer deserves to be treated this way.

I purchased 14 fences and when they dropped them off, they were broke fences, some weren’t even nailed down, they were spaced improperly, and just poorly designed. The cross 1x2 were uneven and nothing looked professionally done. There was also a 11% rebate I was suppose to get back along with many other receipts I have yet to get any confirmation on….:
And still nothing… this places customer service is tanking. I went in for help and no body in store wants to help with rebate. Last big purchase I will ever spend at this location.

Good prices and selection in the Garden Center. The autonomous floor sweeper, while seemingly safe enough, caught me by surprise and caused customers to scatter from the main aisle. Is this really necessary when the store is crowded midday?

When they offer the 11% rebate and you can find a sale, prices are especially good. They also have a great selection of Sprecher pop from Wisconsin.

1 employee who completely ignores you, but the other 3 were very passionate and informative, so that's why I gave it a 4,we found what we were looking for and that's about it

Absolute Joke in service. Had a cedar point line behind me to return a door I bought. had the receipt should have been an easy transaction. Oh no one person at the service desk. 11 people in line no help anywhere finally after about 20+ min the manager over casually to help because she was need for an override wont be coming back here. Save yourself the trouble and go across the street to Home Depot
Update: Several Years later and nothing has changed everything about this place is like pulling teeth. They charge you to pick up online orders and myself and the other 3 vehicles have been sitting out here for what now approaching a half an hour. With none of us getting serviced. I ask what’s going on and all I get is a hold tight… again don’t do it go to Home Depot where customer service actually exist
