I wouldn't even rate this with one star! Unfortunately that's my only option. My Grandma has been calling for MONTHS to get her oxygen tank cleaned and new tubing. Also needs tanks!!!!! She finally got ahold of someone only to tell her they are short staffed!?!? Its now been another 2 months of calling with no answer and not ONE PERSON has shown up to clean her machine or deliver her tanks! This company is absolutely AWFUL!

I have "MY PERSON" at
Midwest. BRADLEY DULONG. Respitory therapist. I felt my machine required something. My 3rd one. Bradley is professional but so much personality. He's just a happy man. I picked it up. All!! Whatever he does. My compliance report, ran some tests on it. Made sure script was correct and calibrated.Even the way he put machine back in case all nice and neat. He represents the company extremely well. And his sharing of great information on the importance of these machines. Thank you Mr Dulong. Stay well.

Bradley DuLong was my respiratory therapist and he was wonderful! I was a little nervous but he put me completely at ease! I feel much more confident about my first night with my machine. He was highly referred to me by both of my parents who are also patients. I guess you could say Brad is part of our family now!

If i could put less than 1 star I would. Please go literally anywhere but this place. My doctor sent over a order for a nebulizer on 7/29/24 and said it would take a day for Medwest to receive the order and let me pick it up. The following day I recieved several calls back to back from Medwest from different 313 numbers which all came up as Spam, one of them finally left a voicemail. Otis left a voicemail asking if my insurance was from another state? and said the doctor diddnt give them notes as to why I needed the nebulizer which seemed werid why they need to know my medical information if the doctor sent the order for it they shouldnt need to know or ask for my doctor visit notes. I called back, I asked why they were calling me for medical notes and that seemed like something they should be calling the doctor to ask for if that is truly what they needed the worker on the phone said “Yeah that makes sense” They said they diddnt know and they would call my doctor not sure if this ever happened or not. For the next week after that Otis continued to call every 1-2 days stating they were waiting for a insurance hold and they were waiting for my insurance to respond to their request and it should be ready the next day. They said it would be delivered to my house and i said i had no issue coming in to pick it up, i asked if it was being delivered if i owed anything to them or if insurance paid for the machine he said he wasnt sure, I asked for someone else who would know the answer who also had no idea. I felt as if i was being strung along after the 2nd week of them doing this so I called Medwest myself, the lady who answered the phone acted as if this was her first day in medical sales along with some of the other staff answering the phone who could not answer a single one of my questions, they all responded to everything I asked with “idk”. I finally called my insurance company to see what “authorization hold” they had been waiting for several weeks to be resolved according to Medwest, my insurance confirmed they dont do authorization holds on nebulizers it was approved to be covered by insurance as soon as the doctor sent the order over and there wasnt a reason why I couldnt have had the machine on day one and that not a single person from Medwest had called them as Otis and his manager claimed they said they were doing. I called Medwest to let them know what my insurance company said to which the lady who answered the phone said she diddnt know what I was talking about “she was just reading the notes on my order” I asked if anyone knew what was going on at all and she said she would have her manager call me back and quickly hung up. This was over 2 weeks ago, no manager ever called me back and Medwest stopped giving me calls to give me “updates” on my nebulizer. I am fully confident they were never intending on filling my nebulizer order from my doctor and was stringing me along for weeks for absolutely no reason. I never was rude to any of the workers, never yelled or accused them of never actually wanting to fill my order despite feeling this way. I walked into Farmington Drugs & Medical Supplies in Livonia who was able to give me a machine on the spot with no issues so i never will understand how they would benefit from doing this to me, i never gave them any money and the insurance never paid then for anything so I have to assume they enjoyed wasting my time. Ive never talked to anyone more incompetent then the workers from this place. Please do not go here if you actually need medical equptiment, i suffered from asthma attacks for weeks while waiting for this buisness to never fill my order.

Such an unprofessional company to be in the medical supply business. I have been trying to get an order filled for over five weeks. You can't call, no one ever answers the phone. You have to leave a message and you rarely have your call returned. Then when you do the representative can't seem to help you. All I needed was pre authorization from my insurance company and that simple task seemed to be beyond them. I am so frustrated trying to deal with this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your medical supply needs and save yourself the frustration that I am going through.

I had Bradley DuLong as my respiratory therapist and he made my experience extremely enjoyable. Getting diagnosed with sleep apnea is a stressful experience but having Bradley explain the machine and talk to me as a person instead of as a patient made my experience that much better. I highly recommend him and his team and I will be coming back.

Bradley DuLong was my instructor for my new CPAP machine. He was VERY knowledgeable and very nice. He explained everything very well I gave him a 4 because that is as close to perfect that I feel anyone or anything can get.
