I wasn't referred to this place. It was basically a walk-in. The photo on their site had photos that showed some younger people, but on the day I went there the clientele where much older and in their 70s-80s. The stylists were also older, although the one who did my hair was my age. I'm not sure what went wrong here. I tried to explain what I wanted, but she was so excited and felt like I was a makeover candidate, that it seemed like she just knew what she wanted to do, so she just went with it. I ended up being very unhappy with the cut and the color. Also, for my color, she used a method she called the hood method, where she painted some kind of goop on my face so that the foils could stick and I had just done my makeup that morning. She did not forewarn me that she was going to do that. She just grabbed her brush and started doing it. Also, my appointment took almost 4 hours. Never in my life have I been to a hair appointment for almost 4 hours.

Mom and I came in for a "Spa" day. The hairstylist and manicurist were wonderful.

My hairstylist passed away a number of years ago, and I was on the hunt for someone who could work with my fine hair. If you know, you know. It's so hard starting over. Well.... after many failed recommendations, I finally landed on Maxima. And I'm so thankful I did. Kelly is the one who works with me and she just "gets" my hair. I never feel rushed. She takes her time and makes me feel like she's glad I'm there. From what I've seen, the other stylists interact with their clients, too. The staff is friendly and the shop is clean. So, if you're on the hunt, I highly recommend Maxima Salon.

I've been coming here for over 20 years! The oener, Kelly, is amazing and she runs a great business. I'm looking forward to her being in her new location! The only complaint I would have is the condition of the building and parking lot, but that is an issue the owner needs to handle, not the owner of this fantastic hair salon!Service: Haircut

Very beautiful clean shop! Was greeted at the front door by receptionist. Wonderful atmosphere with very nice people. The owner cuts my sons hair and has since he was born. *** THIS IS THE BEST SALON YOU COULD BE AT ***The owner of this amazing establishment has worked at this salon since she was 1989 (she was 22 years old) and after years of working her butt off with 2 daughters to raise, she bought the salon and created this beautiful place for people to come and leave feeling better than how they did when they arrived. You will find nothing but extremely loyal and long-term clients.

Worst service i've ever had at a salon. The staff was very unprofessional, especially the owner of this place! Wouldn't recommend to this place to anyone even my worst enemy.
