Would leave 0 if could, went to these guys for years and James been my main dude. This time the work done was dishonest, and no compensation. To make matters worse this happened to my disabled mother, so if you have older family please go with them because they will prey on them. Not sure what’s going on but business here is terrible. Mechanics shouldn’t lie just to make a quick buck. You fixed a piece not needed to be fix and instead of being an honest man you standing behind it street keeping my mothers car 6 days and charging 875 bucks?

These are the people you want to do business with. I had a severe scratch and dent that needed an insurance claim. They worked through the whole process with me and even installed an entirely new body panel on a truck bed. There were a few minor things that I asked to be corrected after I picked it up (I was raised in a picky car family) and they obliged quickly and without hassle. I recently had a poor experience getting my car serviced at this shop. When I brought it in, I was told it would cost thousands of dollars to fix and that the car was practically junk. That seemed very excessive to me. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to another mechanic instead. They were able to quickly identify and address the actual issue, and it did not end up costing nearly as much as I was originally quoted. I'm glad I decided to get another estimate before agreeing to the expensive repairs at this shop.

Have you heard that nobody in Michigan wants to work? Well, it's true and this place is one of the worst offenders. I reviewed their website thoroughly and was impressed that it repeatedly emphasized "we work on ANY car!" Since lately it has become impossible to get a 1960's car serviced in the Motor City (ironic, huh?), even though parts are readily available and I never approach a mechanic or body shop unless I already have the new part in my hands! I reached out to this place via their website and - surprise! - never got a response. So I phoned and spoke with the woman who runs the front office. I told her I had a rusty outer rocker AND I already had a nice, new outer rocker for the car. She "checked" with the body guy and said forget it, he won't touch a car that old. Really? Then why does your website repeatedly emphasize age, make and model are not an issue? Why does your website NOT say "we don't do rust work." The woman stated they DO rust work, just not mine because it would be "too tedious and time consuming." Okay, ALL auto repair work is tedious and time consuming - I know, because I do a lot of it myself, since nobody in Michigan wants my money. I pointed out this was an easier car to work on than the new ones, with the simple body engineering and plenty of open space to work in. "By the time it's so bad you need a patch, it's too big a job for us," the woman said. I told her it WASN'T that bad (remember, these idiots haven't even SEEN the car), I just don't want to do Bondo - I want the repair done right - with METAL. It's easier using pieces cut from my replacement rocker (which already has the correct curve), than to fabricate pieces from scratch & glop over them with Bondo to smooth out the hammer marks. No dice - they refused to even look at it. "Well then," I told her, "you need to take those statements off your website that say 'any car regardless of age and make.' You also need to state that you DON'T do rust work." She replied that they DO those things, alright - just not for me. Great business ethic here. I'm glad the woman (and apparently the body guy, as well) were such jerks up front, so I didn't wind up doing business with people who will give you a bad experience. Perhaps you shouldn't do business with them either, since they really don't want your money!
