The checkout lines are always to the back of the store. They are several self checkout machines that are never used because corporate thinks they block the flow of people into the store.
Why can this store not do better?

Had to wait for a customer service worker to return from her break. They had no one covering the break. The sign says customer service hours are from 8am to 8pm. There were 4 people waiting for her upon her return. She had an attitude when she came back.

My shopping experience at the Kroger store located at 30935 Five Mile Road and Merriman is the worse I’ve ever experienced at any supermarket in the country. The service desk representative “Chaquita” was extremely rude, disrespectful, disgruntled and confrontational Sunday, May 19 at 4:59 pm when I returned to request an over ring correction. She stated false information about digital coupons (which I had clearly clipped and used in the past) alleging that the only way the coupons could be redeemed was by pulling out my phone at the cash register every time even after I had clipped them; falsely accused me of removing my credit card incorrectly; stated that I didn’t highlight all 3 honey crisp apple transactions (although all three are listed together on the receipt she was holding) and was accusatory while snarling through the refunds she administered to my credit card. I was returning after Chaquita refused to make the corrections the preceding Saturday evening at 9:38 pm while she was still behind the customer service desk. She stated that she had to leave and that I “had to” return the following day. As I exited the store, an observing customer overheard the interaction and stated that she avoids encounters with Chaquita at all costs. Chaquita stated to me that her mannerisms are “just my personality” and that she cannot discuss why she is so angry and unhappy with customers. This so-called service representative Chaquita should never be allowed to interact with customers because of her negative attitude and hostile behavior.

So it's a Wednesday I need to pay my bills . I went to kroger thinking customer service would be open. Lady behind counter said nope no one here today to help you. WTH a huge corporation and not one person on a Wednesday there to help! That's just pathetic.

I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years;I will never shop here again.. Tried to find a Manager- no one had a clue where to find one. Cashier needs Customer Service Training - very poor experience

Paula had the most nastiest attitude I’ve ever encountered as a self check out clerk. The self check out kept malfunctioning and she’d come over not say a word and continue to do what she was doing. Never spoke to me. Addressed me or even let me know if I should use all other check out. Michael the store manager I spoke to was kind however the lack of customer experience left a made taste and I won’t ever be returning.

Diane was very nice but did not pack any of the bags right she did not bag the pop when we asked and only put one item in each bag so we had about 150 bags nice job ?
