We bought a house that had recently had a full tear off roof replacement done by J & K. Our home inspector noted that we have a great deal of standing water on the roof of our two car garage and that we should have it looked at ASAP.I reached out to J & K, who confirmed they did indeed work on the roof, however they refused to send anyone out to look at the standing water and insisted that the amount of standing water was normal. After a month of going back and forth attempting to get any roofing professional from J & K to come out and at least take a look at the situation in person my requests went denied, and eventually all emails went unanswered.I will be looking elsewhere for my roof repair needs, and will be actively recommending anyone else do the same.The Images attached show the roof of our two car garage after many days of no rainfall. The garage is constantly covered with water and on the inside of the garage is visible water damage, which I assume is why J & K was called to fix in the first place. they replaced the roofing material but did nothing to treat the problem. Ignorant leadership, poor planning, terrible customer service, and a company that ignores customer complaints. I would never recommend this company.Service: Refurbishment

JK Home Improvement completed a high quality roofing and gutter project at a reasonable price. Their installation was professionally done in a short time with no issues. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

Our next door neighbors used Jk home improvements to do the siding on their house and it turned out beautiful. So we called Andy, the owner, and asked him to quote our roof and siding. The prices were fair. The finished product is outstanding. His siding crew has been with him for 20 years. He only has one crew and they take extreme pride in the work they do. Can not recommend them any higher. Several other neighbors have stopped by and are so impressed with the quality of their work that they are contacting Andy and JK Home improvement to do work on their homes.

First impression, Andy the owner came to provide an estimate of having our siding and gutters replaced. He was very thorough explaining what work and materials will be use to complete the project. Andy was very detailed walking my wife and I through the project. Materials were dropped off on Tuesday, Bob and his crew came out on Wednesday. The siding job completed on Friday. They worked in unison from start to finish replacing the siding, on time each morning working as a team. Cleaned up completely each day. Kudos to Bob who went out his way to put our mailbox, porch and garage light up after we made a new purchase. Mike came out on Monday to complete the gutter job. His gutter work is impeccable and excellent. I highly recommend JK Home improvement for your next siding/gutter job. In addition we were given a list of customers who hired JK to look at his work prior to making our decision. We were very impressed at his work.

Best home improvement company on the planet. We had them install roofs, siding, storm doors, gutters, windows, garage doors and sliding glass doors for us on three different homes. Well explained quotes, reasonable pricing, friendly and very qualified staff. Best of all was the clean up and superb job.Thank you.Brian McAllister

I hired JK to replace my roof, siding, trim, and gutters. Total house facelift makeover! They did a couple jobs in neighborhood so i was able to talk to one of them and received good feedback. I called and they came out for free estimate on time and promptly after contacting them. Brought color samples, provided design guidance, answered all of my many questions, and provide estimate same day. No pressure, no BS. Super nice and very professional. Price was in the ballpark of what I was expecting, not cheap but fair. I feel you get what you pay for, and this family owned company company did not disappoint. They started job about three weeks after making deposit. Showed up on time and got it done. Each day they worked hard, and then cleaned up before they left. Took four days total to complete the project. No complaints, no adjustments needed, no returns to fix anything. Everything was perfect. We originally had shutters around the windows but I wasn't convinced I liked them. So Andy (owner) offer idea for custom aluminum trim. Showed me pictures of what he's done before. I requested a slight change in design (wider trim along bottom of windows) and his team delivered exactly what I requested. House looks great, and we couldn't be happier. I recommend JK Home Improvement to do your home makeover.

We had JK out for siding and gutters. These guys are real deal professionals and operate like a well oiled machine. Job was completed in less than 2 days and everything looks awesome. They were working in an area with new landscaping and our vegetable garden and took great care not to trample anything. We had 1 minor issue with overhang blocking a windows and they were out the same day to fix it.

I wish I was able to give another 1/2 star for this company to make it 4 1/2. The estimate that Andy gave me was reasonable and covered all of the bases. When I had questions, he was very prompt with his response time. I also needed the roof to be done within a certain time frame and he was able to accommodate what I needed. He also came by the house after the crew left to make sure everything looked good and that I was satisfied with the job. I had 7 other companies come out for estimates and reviews of my dad's deteriorating roof on his 1100 sq ft house. Some were off the chart and others were pushy and boastful. I didn't get a comfortable feeling when they were giving me their pitch. While some of the other estimates were close, I liked that it was a local, family-operated business. Thanks JK, for giving the roofing business a trustworthy rep.

Pros: 1) The roofing and siding look great. 2) Material quality looks good. 3) Workmanship looks really great. Cons (or room for improvements) 1) During estimate, Andy just wen up to the roof and did his thing without knocking on our door and tell us that he was about to go up. Luckily, no one was doing some private stuffs while he was doing his estimate. He could easily see people inside when he was on the roof. 2) Gave us the estimate time frame when they will start the work - it was right on, but forgot to tell us the exact date when they would start to work on the roof. i just woke up one morning hearing some noise coming from the roof, and they were already tearing up the old roofing. 3) Gave us cost estimate on the gutter system with leaf protection, assuming that they will replace the entire existing gutters. They did replace 80% of it, but didn't put the gutter on one of the sidings. Well, that siding used to be asphalt shingles, but we opt to replace it with regular sidings. Now, we don't know if there should be gutter in there or not. If not, then we think we paid more than what the estimate was for. We asked Andy to take a look at it, but it has been 2 weeks since he told us he would drop by, we haven't heard from him yet. 4) We had to tell them or remind them to remove the rotten woods - if my wife was not watching that day, it seems like they were ready to just cover it with sidings materials. Would I go back to them again? Most likely, but I have to remind them of my experience (the cons). Would I recommend them? Most likely, but I will warn my friends about the cons, so they can ask or remind them... Update(12/02/2011): My wife just called and told me that Jeff (Andy's brother) stopped by and explained about the rotten wood comments, and the "missing" gutter. For the gutter, according to them, normally, they don't put gutter at the bottom of the sidings, but we told him our concerns about excessive water dripping when it rains. He proposed to put gutter in there within 7 days, and if we don't like how it would look like, they can remove it without any additional cost. Most likely, we will keep the gutter even though the overall look may not be as nice as it is now. Kudos to them for responding quickly!!! I sent them a copy my original review yesterday via e-mail telling them that was my testimonial of their work in our house. According to my wife, Jeff seemed very concerned about my comments and wanted to make things right. I updated my rating to 4 stars from 3 because of their positive response. Once they install the gutter, and check its final outcome, I won't hesitate to update my rating to full 5 stars for quality of workmanship. My other complaints for lack of notifications - I can ignore them, but I hope they would consider to improve on them next time for complete customer satisfaction experience.
