Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we checked in, we were treated to exceptional service. The manager, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate our needs truly stood out. Our two-night stay was made memorable not only by the comfortable accommodations but also by the impeccable service provided by the manager and the staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hotel experience that exceeds expectations. From Canada ::)))!

Rooms mostly clean, it's in a loud traffic area. Staff is nice. Breakfast is 4/10. They need to fix some broken items, the toaster works. Coffee is terrible. Juice is good and real OJ. Beds are good, standard air filled hotel pillows.

Don’t stay here. Go stay at the hyat in novi, the one in novi is newer and cleaner. We’re from out of state and came here for thanksgiving for the game. Mind you we booked this hotel months and months prior to this trip AND before we even got on our plane we had confirmation for our room that it was ready. So we took a ride to the hotel and they told us they sold our room and had none left. ON THANKSGIVING AND during the biggest game of the season… so we had to pay for another ride to the hotel they said they’d put us at but only for one night not both and we’d have to pay again to drive back to the Livonia hotel and check back in the next day. Which wasn’t even an option for us so we ended up being saved by novi because they only had two rooms left and we stayed there instead and I’m glad we did. And the hotel we got switched too was 30 mins further from the game so our Ubers cost almost 100 instead of 59 each. Thanks for that. They never called us to tell us they didn’t have our room. Never emailed me about not having a room and actually told us to check in early but when we got there. No room. We eventually got everything covered but if they hadn’t had somewhere else to send us every hotel was 500 and up a night or even more and all of them were sold out. We always stay at Hyatt but after this we might change our mind. We have never had anything like this before. It was not a great start to our trip.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time this year on a business trip after many stays up to and including 2020.The hotel seems to be struggling with the consequences of the Covid pandemic. I have the impression that there is not enough staff available, especially to clean the rooms. At check-in I was not told that I had to explicitly state that the room had to be cleaned. In total, I had to complain about the cleaning three times during my stay. However, the so-called cleaning only included making the beds and emptying the garbage cans. I didn't notice anything about the washbasin, shower or toilet being cleaned. The rooms only have air conditioning (cooling/heating) for the living room/bedroom. The bathroom is completely unheated. Not a problem in summer, not what I want now in November. After my last stay in July, this time I gave the invoice address (company name and address) to reception alreday at check-in. When I checked out, the invoice was made out to me as a private individual. The receptionist was very displeased that she had to issue the bill again. I would have expected more of an apology from professional hotel staff.I am also a World of Hyatt member, which supposedly could not be found anywhere in the documentation. However, I explicitly stated my membership number when making the reservation. Both the company name and the company address are stored in my member profile. Why do I need this profile if it is not used?Breakfast is American standard. The hotel is well connected to the interstate. The 7-Mile/Haggerty Road location is close to numerous restaurants.Rooms: Need renovation especially in the bathroom, AC very loud.Food & drinks: Breakfast is typical American standard.

I stayed in Hyatt for a business trip.I have stayed in other hyatt, but this one did not feel good/up to the standard and It was the Staff for me.The rooms were good but towels and soaps were rationed. At night the staff was missing at the counter, waited for quiet a bit. tried looking around. Most average breakfast.I thought I was experiencing this only during my stay but I did not receive my bill, so call in to get a copy, there too the conversation felt stiff.Hope there was politeness and courteousness to these conversations during and after the stay.

UPDATE: We got charged over a month later as a "no show." I've called the hotel twice now and was told the manager will give me a call back once they "look into it." Still waiting for them to call back.. so frustrating!Booked a king room with a late check in. After driving 7 hours, we go to check in and they only had a 2- double bed room across from the kitchen- which the staff stated it would be very disruptive early. They would not change our rate from the king to the double or even for the inconvenience that it caused. They did allow us to cancel our reservation with no charges. At 12:30am, we left to go to another hotel. Very disappointed!

I crashed here late at night before a meeting and Rufus at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, modern, spacious, and lovely. I felt safe at this hotel as a woman traveling alone and the breakfast was a great finish to an amazing stay. Thank you, Rufus and Hyatt team!

Excellent service from the front desk. Our check-in and check-out was smooth. The front desk staff was so helpful. Whether you're vegan, have nut allergies or don't eat pork, they had fantastic breakfast options for all.

Absolutely disgusting & appalling. The photo is of the comforter on the bed. The toilet in the guest room does not flush, there was trash in the waste basket upon arrival, and the restrooms in the lobby were filthy with pee on the seats.

A favorite hotel of mine. Rooms are clean and spacious. J. Alexander's restaurant is well within walking distance. Staff has always been friendly and professional.

I stay at Hyatt properties all the time when I travel for work. I have never had a bad experience until this one!The staff were friendly but the room was a complete disaster!Spider/cobwebs everywhere, bad mildew in the shower.Bathroom was entirely too small with barely a quarter of an inch between the toilet and the door. This was in one of their more expensive rooms as well! The convenience bar was woefully understocked for the first three days of my trip.Definitely not what I have come to expect from a Hyatt property.

The rooms were absolutely Dirty. There were stains on literally all the pillows and sheets. In one of the beds there were multiple hairs found and the sheets just looked so dingy. I’m willing to bet the sheets were not changed from the last people who slept here. The towels also had stains on them. I’m not sure if they were permanently stained but still those need to be thrown away. Do not wash them and put them back in the rooms. No one wanted stained linen or towels. Someone left photos about how dirty their room was and I know for the fact we had the same room from the photos because the dirt on the walls were the exact same from our stay. Please do a better job cleaning that was unacceptable and I felt so dirty staying there. Also the breakfast was never in stock and they would end the breakfast early for what reason idk. I had to wait for coffee 3 days in a row for like 10 mins until I final said something. The last day of our stay the tops to the coffee didn’t fit the cups and i spilled hot coffee all over my hand. Definitely will be finding somewhere else to stay next time I’m in town.Rooms: Very dirty

Horrible place to stay. Worst Hyatt experience ever. We were passing through Detroit area and decided to spend the night. This place seemed good based in reviews and location so we gave it a try. Regretted it since the moment we go to the elevators. First off the elevators had a very interesting odor. We looked past that as we were only supposed to be there for a few hours to sleep and head out early. Our room was disgusting (see attached photos). In a post Covid world, the lack of cleanliness is appalling.I will say our guest host was amazing. He got us extra sheets, blankets, and even came up personally to offer us another room. We were too far settled in to switch so late into the night. My reason for leaving this horrific review is to save others. I contacted Hyatt corporate and they said the GM would contact us and look to make the situation right. That never happened hence I am leaving this review after providing them ample opportunity to rectify the situation.See for yourself in the photos all the disgust in the room. Yes those stains are on the sheets. First thing we noticed. Would you want to stay there or have your family stay there? Also this is only the visible stuff. Imagine what can’t be seen with the naked eye.

I stayed there for 3 nights and i was in Michigan for an exhibiton. Room was big and breakfast was enough. There was always fresh coffee in the reception which was lovely. Wifi was not working when we arrived but reception spent lots of effort and in 5 hours the problem was solved. Location was perfect. Definitely recommended...
