I visited the Plymouth St location in Livonia. I needed assistance with changing my payment date for my car on the mobile app. Sehba and Arsheena both assisted me. They worked as a team & both were extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciate their kindness and service with a smile attitude. Thanks ladies

I had a great experience at this location! I was in town doing business. I randomly stopped in. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The staff went out of their way for me even though it was very close to closing time. Even though this isn't my usual location, It definitely felt like It was.... Thanks for the dimes ladies!

ATM machine is always out of service! Then, to make the matter even more irritating is that it's a woman with dreads looking like a whole man, smiling and grinning with another coworker while she is trying to take care of me! They're fat and lazy worker's and unprofessional

WORST BANK EVER!!! This back is designed to take your money at every chance they get! They offer perks to help but deny you & take them away when your account doesn’t meet there standards which they can’t detail & they give you no explanations!!! DO BETTER!!!! I WISH THEY NEVER MERGED WITH TCF!!!!

The Manager & Staff gave me a very hard time today. I simply wanted to cash 2 checks and make a checking withdrawal. The Staff said because I’m not a “regular” customer at that branch, they needed to fully examine my 2 checks from my customers and make a checking withdrawal which I’m a Customer of Huntington for the last 6 years. They made my experience awful, but that’s understandable since the Manager and staff are highly unprofessional and very entry level Customer Service Reps with zero people skills and zero professionalism. I’ve filed a complaint to Huntington Corp Office since out of now 18 reviews, 11 have a 1 star rating. I should have the luxury of going to any branch I want regardless if I’m a “regular.” I’ll be back to the branch when I’m in the area again, but don’t treat people differently because they need to be a “regular customer” at your branch. Manager also needs to actually exhibit some kind of leadership skills and abilities at this point. Your reviews are low, failing and that’s a reflection on you and your unskilled entry level staff you have.

This is why I’m closing my account with Huntington and finding a new bank. This company is sneaky and VERY money greedy. This bank will leave you feeling like THEY own YOUR money. They WILL do whatever they want with it. Expect frequent random fees without explanation. Not once have I received a notification before they take my money. They charge you fees even if it means you’ll be overdrawn and then charge you again for being overdrawn as if it isn’t their fault. They also charge you just to check your balance and withdrawal money from an atm that isn’t at a Huntington location. They keep this hidden from you and randomly drop the charges all at once days or weeks after you used an outside atm. Again, no warning or anything. I’m just tired of having my money stolen, simple as that.

We will be closing our account this week, the staff cannot greet you in a proper manner and make you feel good about coming into their institution. They go out of their way to be rude and inconsiderate. I would rather put my money in a different bank that cares about me. Thank you Chase for your assurance.

I am reluctant to ever post negative reviews about a business, as I have a business myself and realize there can sometimes be misunderstandings. That said, the situations myself and my employees have gone through with this branch need to be made aware to the public so they can make informed decisions before choosing a bank.I was with TCF for 9 years. Overall it was a good bank, and the strong majority of employees were very friendly. I actually went to this same location before it went to Huntington, and some of those employees are still there-which is good-as the tellers are not who I have an issue with.Huntington bought out TCF a year and a half ago or so, and this branch has been a train wreck. I have now had my business account closed TWICE , as the manager here said paperwork was lost or not forwarded from TCF. Mind you, I've had this account since 2012. I had to spend countless hours gathering this stuff I submitted in 2012, as she said, "I need you to prove you have a business." Again, my office is 3 miles from the bank location, and everything they needed to find could have been done behind the scenes without inconveniencing me.After all that work, they then had my account shut down AGAIN months later. I was told someone in Huntington corporate did not attach the said documents I previously gave to the branch. I did my best to hold it in and not get mad, but it was baffling this could be happening again. That day, a nice employee at the branch was able to get it straightened out while the manager causing the issue to begin with sat in a private office. Now, my account has been threatened to close down by this manager.... a THIRD time. Why? Now I am told that customers should be writing checks to me instead of the proper channel I forward them to. Mind you, this account again has been in force since 2012, and I have always forwarded checks the same way-as have peers of mine. This has been harassment primarily by one person. I realize I can go to any Huntington branch, this one is just most convenient location wise. If the manager is not there, usually there is sanity and the tellers are conveniently able to get everything done. However, the manager sadly runs the branch and has made life absolutely difficult for myself and employees when she is involved. My strong recommendation-DO NOT BANK AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!

This branch is getting 5 stars from me solely because of Christian and the two other employees working on 03/31. Christian was not only helpful, but incredibly friendly. I came to close a shared account with my mother and it was done quickly. There was a long line when we entered but the workers were very efficient since we were being helped after only 5 mins of waiting. Throughout the process, Christian was so sweet and other employees joined in on our conversation and spoke to my mother and I like we were friends. It was the first time I actually enjoyed going to the bank. After closing my account, I had the option to open another or choose a different bank— I chose Huntington because of today!

The lady with the ring in her nose was very rude, because of her I’ll be going somewhere else.

Got a check from a car dealer from Huntington bank, tried cashing it at this location and was told they don't have enough cash on hand ($27,000), and they have to order it in. So I told them to go ahead and I will wait for it, then they told me they can not do that either, you have to have a account with Huntington bank to do this, the bank manager was very rude, my business has done loans through Huntington bank. I will never do business with these people again, rude and they can't even pay out a check from their customers into cash....

I recently visited this branch to check on any offerings on APY compare to other institutions, so I met with the branch manager and she had the nerve to ask me why do I have that much liquidity.... completely unprofessional.I wish TCF bank was never bought by Huntington.

I've been a Huntington member ever since my previous bank (First Merit) was bought out. I have never had any issues or complaints with Huntington until recently, around the time they merged with TCF.The constant inconveniences, poor communication, and rude employees have pushed me to look for a new financial institution. I am in the process of buttoning up a few things before I pull my money and head for a credit union. Here are my issues, if you care to know the details:1. I have been unable to use mobile deposit since December when I switched to a Galaxy S21 phone. There is an existing compatability issue that their staff has not addressed for THREE MONTHS.2. I am on a joint account with my grandparents (who were forced into Huntington after their TCF account merged).Even though I'm not the primary account holder, data and "spending reports" from their account always appear and disrupt my information when I try to use the app to view MY personal accounts.I contacted customer service to see if I could remove my grandparent's account information from my view, and the associate seemed annoyed and was of no help; I was told that since my name is on their account, I automatically get all that information and there's nothing I can do about it.I can "filter" account views, but the filter always resets automatically, making it a pointless feature. I used to enjoy the app, but I now find it annoying.3. I recently visited this branch with my marriage certificate so that I could change my last name on my personal accounts. The woman helping me was clearly a new hire, because she didn't seem to know what she was doing. After she typed a few things into the system, she walked away and came back with a manager. The manager placed some papers down in front of me and gave me what felt like an interrogation. "Who are all these people?" She pointed at the names of my grandparents and my aunt, which were listed. I had forgotten that my name change would also affect the joint account. I explained the situation about how I was added to help them order groceries and goods, because they are elderly and disabled. The manager then told me that I had 48 hours to collect signatures from everyone on that list, or else their account would be frozen.I was livid. We all live in different cities, and my grandpa was in the hospital at that time. Why didn't anyone tell me about this ridiculous requirement before the name change was processed? They refused to undo the action they made in the system. I also asked if I could be taken off the account, and she said "no." No one apologized for the inconvenience.I have three jobs and a family to take care of, and somehow I had to drive all over southeast Michigan to get signatures for a silly name change so that my poor grandparents wouldn't lose access to their own money.
