Great service and selection. I come here fairly often when I need some specialty things. Nuts and bolts etc. nice not to fight the crowds and traffic getting to the big box stores. Only drawback is, price. Always seems to be a little more expensive. Great place to exchange a propane tank. Can always get you in and out in a timely manner.

Was greeted nicely when I walked in and walked towards the hardware department for shelf pegs. Scott asked if I needed help and took me right to where they were and helped me select what I needed. Went to Home Depot before coming here to Great Lakes Ace and saw employees with their surgical gloves and face diapers on standing around, not one asked if I needed help and I walked up and down several aisles looking for what I needed, but who did try and help me? A fellow customer. Pathetic. Will definitely be shopping at Great Lakes Ace Hardware much, much more.

Everyone in this store has always been extremely helpful and kind. It is so nice to still have a small hardware store in this day and time. I have always found what I needed and the prices are in line with the big box stores. Keep up the great work!

This store is the best, honestly. The service here is always top notch. The associates are always on point and willing to help with anything.I use the online app all the time to place an order and they always ahead of the game. Orders ready well within the promised time unless I ordered a huge amount of items which is well within understanding and the associates always willing to help load my truck.THE STORE IS CLEAN!!!!! can't tell you how many places I been and it's in shambles or completely lack of care for product placement/representation.Unless I absolutely have to for a specific product I always choose ace over orange square and the blue hardware store.

There are no “experts” here. I didn’t feel like going back to Home Depot so I stopped here to get help with a part for my shower. I needed clarity that I was getting the right part… they called over a young guy to just stare at the packaging with me ??. He was polite though! I know we’re conditioned to hate the bigger retailers but their plumbing department always has a guy with personal knowledge of what they’re selling.
