Went to Genesis for the first time and absolutely loved it! Carrie did a wonderful job on my hair. I will definitely be back. Everyone was friendly, the shop was clean, I was even offered coffee. Thanks everyone at Genesis and especially, thank you to Carrie.

I came to Genesis for a donation cut. Amy was my stylist and was incredible!! She took her time and I think this is my most favorite cut ever! I loved the salon and my experience was great!! I think I have finally found my place!

2 is pushing it! I went here in the first place because of the reviews.....Was my first time here recently & I thought ok you pay for what you get right? Got to be much better than the last girl I went to 3 or 4 times from Great clips & hoping I was going to get something I could come back to & stay with. Not so much the case. The stylist I had whose first name starts w/ a K was not very personable right off the bat ( actually not what you expect from a stylist, felt like she had an attitude) but maybe she didn't like me saying I was very picky to start w/ my medium/long hair & that my hair was everything because over the years I have gotten a lot of attention just from my hair so I needed someone who will give me & stay within the feathered look & that didn't even happen even though the layers were cut by the book but it is what it is. It was an OK cut but definitely not worth the $55 especially when I asked for a dry cut & not to wash my hair but it was still built in the price, no adjustments cause I was paying for the cut & not the wash as I was told. This stylist made my new experience rather uncomfortable just from her personality to start w/ & then on top of it, I asked her to touch up my side burns & she forgot & the second thing is I was real picky about my bangs & told her to not touch them too much except for maybe a tad of fixing -she had told me at the end she was having a hard time not adjusting them to unity in the front w/ the middle portion being a little longer like I had it so I told her to go ahead & do the little extra trim which I should have NOT done (because she was the veteran in this of 20 some yrs w/ this same place) & now they are uneven & too short & now I gotta wait for them to grow back out & be uncomfortable for another couple weeks. So in fairness or just because of being polite & proper, I tipped her $12 so my total came to $68 & left there totally unsatisfied & even went home & re-wet my hair & tried different things & still wasn't happy w/ it. I think I'll go back to my Great clips girl & have her make a few adjustments that I'll be happy w/ for a better price!! Again it is what it is & maybe someone else there would do better for you, but I'm definitely not going back! Lesson learned first time!!

First time getting highlights wasn't too sure what I was doing lol. Kellie was very polite and very helpful and helping me decide on what was best for me. I love it it turned out amazing will definitely be back.

I've been going here for over 5 years now. Carrie is my absolute favorite and I trust her opinion. The owners are fabulous and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Pedicures are awesome too!

Amy at this salon is incredible. My whole family (four of us ladies) love it here and have been coming for well over a decade. Amy, Kellie, and several other staff members helped with my bridal party hair (10 of us) in 2018, and everyone's look turned out fabulous. Kellie also did my makeup the day of wedding, and it looks great looking back on the photos.
