I had spent around $400 in just a few months with this company on online auctions. I paid my invoices and picked up my orders on time, every time.I won an auction for a few license plates and decided to try their shipping option, as they touted their rates at “reasonable” and this was a small item that was shipping in close proximity.A few days after the auction ended, I was sent an invoice for $17 for shipping. I immediately emailed and expressed some concern with the rate, and requested to pick up the item instead. For reference, a USPS flat-rate envelopes in a size to accommodate is only $10.65.The reply from this company was wildly unprofessional.. they told me the rates “are what they are” if I wanted to pickup the item there would now be a $20 charge or I could pay a $10 abandonment fee (neither of which are listed in their terms of sale).I responded back to question why these fees weren’t disclosed and confirmed that I would pay the $10 abandonment fee, as after their rude response, I did not feel compelled to do business with them anymore. The owner sent an email detailing the shipping costs again, but never acknowledged the undisclosed fees. I also received a voicemail from the other owner, again giving me the option to pay the $10 abandonment fee or pay the $20 pickup fee.As I had already given directive on my desire to cancel the item, I did not respond.A few days later they placed an unauthorized charge on my credit card and decide to ship the item to me, despite my written communication to cancel the item.I contacted the owner again to find out why they had placed an unauthorized charge, and expressed that the experience had been unbelievably terrible. The next correspondence was a notification to say that I had been blocked from all further auctions and then a follow up email from the owner that said “requesting shipping then wanting pickup the item after they did the work, was unbelievably terrible.”Wow!Not disclosing pickup fees or handling costs to customers in your terms of sale is terrible. Not sending someone shipping rates before pickup dates then expecting them to pay whatever fees you decide to come up with is terrible.Giving someone the option to cancel an order (twice), then not reading your emails and placing unauthorized charges on someone’s credit card is terrible.Treating your customers without an ounce of decency or respect is terrible.Do not be fooled by these people who claim to “compassionate” and “reasonable”….. they are the ones who are absolutely terrible.

BUYERS/BIDDERS BEWARE!! if I could give negative stars I would. this is the worst auction company. they care only about their bottom line, not their customers (buyers and sellers). I had an issue with an item I bid on and was very disappointed as it was nothing like the photos showed. I requested a refund knowing I wouldn't get one but was hopeful. Maureen responded advising no refunds and I thanked her for the quick response and advised it was going to be the last time I would be bidding on their future sales. next thing I know I've been blocked from future auctions. well little does she know I have other auction companies I work with and they fixed the negative feedback Maureen left all because I requested a refund. The pictures they take are not clear and are misleading. They are a rip off, charge 18% buyers fee, the highest in Michigan and charge outrages amounts for shipping. I'm a shipper and have a pretty good idea of what it costs. They make thousands of dollars off us buyers just on shipping alone let alone the 18% buyers premium. Watch out, if you piss them off they will try to ruin your name on Hibid and with any future auctions you may want to work with.

I've done business with this company for quite a while. Theyve always been super accommodating. The people complaining about missing appointments baffle me. The pick up time is up to the customer. It's made, by you, days in advance. There are 2-3 days, and many times for you to choose from. Who's fault is it that you can't make it? Also, there is a phone number and email on the invoice for the employee who is in charge of that particular pick up site, if you can't get there on time. Pick up the phone. They will do whatever they can to help. I've done it. To the guy who thinks it's too "sketchy" to pick up in Detroit, don't bid on that auction. Stick to whatever area you feel comfortable in. It's your choice. The location for pick up is on the bid page. In addition, why is it funny or "suspicious" that the one poster says he gets the item for his final left bid? If you're such an auction veteran, you would know that happens often. If it seems "odd" to you then don't do it. Follow the last few minutes of the auction and bid as it goes. These folks have a very friendly staff, and, as I said, are always willing to help. It would seem some people here would have better things to do than post exaggerated and misleading reviews to hurt someone's business, while hiding behind a keyboard. Mistakes happen all the time. They deal with 1000's of items and many, many bidders every week. Get over yourselves and deal with it.

Zero stars. Horrible business practices. Read other reviews and owners responses. They offer two TINY windows for pickup at a shady warehouse in a dilapidated part of the city, not safe. They want you to pay asap or be charged additional ($250 if memory serves me right) fee for "abandonment". So I paid immediately. Took them a week to send me shipping charge fee- almost $60 for a ten mile shipment. $17 was for PACKAGING (which was a flattened box taped together on the ends with some bubble wrap inside- JOKE). I submitted a claim with my cc bank while disputing ship charge with owner. Offered to pickup instead. Forced me to pay $20 for a "Late pickup charge". Told bank I picked up, happy to pay for the item I bid on, but want my $20 back for the extortion late pick up fee charge. Oh, and they post hateful and bigoted memes on their social media accounts. DO NOT SUPPORT these horrible people. Full stop! (This review is based on my experiences and not for any other reason. There are other and much better auction houses to do business with who won't play games and use loopholes to trap you. Never had a bad experience with an auction house before.)

Craig is a stand up guy even when he is driving. Accurate descriptions of quality goods. Honest and fair; what more can you ask from an auction company. (imho: if a person leaves a really bad review of an auction house usually it is because they don't want you bidding against them.)

False leading on auction items! I won a bid on an item show in a picture as a locked tool box. The description read contents included and lock cut off. When I pick up the item the lock was removed prior to my appointment and the toolbox was (surprisingly) empty.

Bought a car DVD system at auction listed as NIB. It was missing the remotes for the DVDs. I contacted them and explained the issue. They said they would look for them and get back to me. They never did and I reached back out to them again. Waiting for a response.

This is the worst, hands down, most crooked estate sale company I have ever dealt with. Stay away, do not buy from them, you will be sorry. If you don't pick up an item within an hour of the precise time they "assign" you then they charge you $30 fee per item for "holding" then they tell you they can't find it even though you were automatically charged on your credit card. It doesn't matter the reason why you couldn't make it at the exact hour they told you to be there, they do not care and will not change the fees. No other estate sale company does this and in my opinion it is dishonest and over the top.
