Dan Morris is the best of the best. We have taken two dogs through his training and get compliments on their behavior by EVERYONE they come accross.

We drive an hour, weekly, to enjoy training our Shepard with Dan. Only regret is I didn’t learn of him earlier.

If you follow Dan's program, you will have a great dog. Dan knows Dogs. Put in the investment of time, and dedication with excellent training, you won't be sorry.

Would give zero if I could. Called the guy up to ask him what kind of services he would actually be able to offer. I told him my dog has issues with behavior and his response was "get a can fill it up with pennies and shake it every time he does a bad behavior" ... He also asked me why I was calling him ...so I doubt that this is the actual number for a dog trainer.

Any who gave Dan one star are likely oversensitive and think you can train your problems with the same baby-talk . They're the ones who need to be trained...not the Canine.

Outstanding, professional, and dedicated. Dan Morris trained me to train my Gladiator Doberman, Wolfgang, back in 1999. Google reviews didn't even exist. Now, 24 years later, I'm referring my family to Dan for training! Thank you again, Dan, 24 years later.

This person refuses to train any pit bull regardless of their behavior. His training method is extremely outdated. He requires every dog to come to class on a choke collar and does not allow any treats. Please instead choose a trainer that uses force-free/positive reinforcement training and is certified by the CCPDT or IAABC.

DAN MORRIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL DOG TRAINER!! We have a 13 month doberman who had an obedience training at 5 months using treats but we were still not pleased with the training. So, we took him to Dan and he has been the best thing to happen to our dobbie. We absolutely love the training he has equipped us to train the dog with no treats or frills. Dan knows dog's psychology so well, he occurs to me as if he's a dog whisperer. He will give you feedback and corrections specific to your dog's behavior along with general commands and training useful to everyone and everyday. Our dog has definite set patterns and can be very stubborn. But as it goes theres no bad dog and only bad training. So, one has to be diligent enough to apply the learnings from the class everyday for the rest of the life of the dog. Been almost 4 weeks and my dogs has started responding exceptionally well. When we took our dobbie for the first time to Dan, I was in awe. It was as if magically Enzo was following everything Dan was asking him to. But here's thing, Dan makes the training look so easy but it's as much a training for you as for the dog. There's so many techniques to learn and apply. Dan has tons of wisdom to share and I absolutely adore Dan's humor. I so regret not getting him sooner to Dan. Nevertheless, it's never too late for anything, certainly not for training your dog right. Even post the classes, Dan is considerate enough to entertain any questions or concerns over the calls as we leave Michigan. Enzo with Dan Moris in the pictures here!

I do NOT recommend Dan. I was looking for obedience training for my 3 month old pup. 6 weeks of training to walk in a circle. My puppy would be crying because of the way he was being pulled. In addition, extremely disrespectful and rude. Few families I signed up with quit because of his attitude and behavior with the dogs. Don't waist your money.

You know right from the beginning what you will get. If you're not willing to put in the time you won't get the results you want. You have to listen and do what you're asked to do to have a well trained dog.

Have taken many dogs to Dan for training over the years and would highly recommend him. This training has never "broken the spirit" if any of our dogs. He is super knowledgeable about addressing various behavior issues.

Amazing!! You are shown proper methods to keep your dog in order. Walking with my dog is now a breeze. Dan is old school with decades of experience. To people who are misinformed, Dan loves dogs, would never hurt an animal. He teaches you are in control of the dog, not the dog of you. Sometimes dogs need a little encouragement through use of german choker. Once taught how to use properly, you will not hurt your dog. Your dog quick realizes who's in charge. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this training for all dogs. Thanks to Dan Morris, I look forward to more training from you.

Dan was recommended to us by our veterinarian 16 years ago and we’ve been taking our dogs Dan ever since. At the time that he was recommended we were trying to manage the aggressive behavior of an adopted Siberian husky. Despite the fact that we were working with the dog daily and had spent over $1000 on dog trainers, the dog was aggressive and stubborn. The dog had bitten three people when I finally gave up and asked our vet to “put him down”. After listening to my story she gave me Dan’s business card. She told me that if Dan couldn’t help me she would “put the dog down”. She was confident that he could help because “Dan had saved many dogs”. With much training and daily practice our dog turned into a good companion who lived to the ripe old age of 12 without further incident. Thanks to Dan.
