Waited more than 2 hours for just tire balance and rotation which was told to be done in 1hr. Why would they fake it.

Costco is awesome, but some of the guys in the tire shop are the absolute worst. I’ve never met such smug and short people anywhere. You’ll get what you can here, but don’t expect a smile or patience.

Showed up for my appointment, waited in the store almost 2 hours, then was told my appointment wasn’t in their system and they haven’t even started on it. Sam at the front should have called and told me but smirked when telling me while I was visibly frustrated. What happened to Costco’s customer service?! Never using Costco for tires again!

While you can get somewhat of a discount on tires here, it is almost not worth it. Almost impossible to get timely service as they are minimally staffed. Purchased a second set of tires here after I didn't get first set rotated enough.. Well, the reason I couldn't get them rotated enough is: every time I would call, they would say 3 hour wait. Tried many times to get in but every time, it was a terribly LONG wait. Decided I would bite the bullet and take a day off to get a rotation (I had previously just rotated them myself due to the long wait to get Costco to do it). So when I finally took a day off work to get in - I had to show up 1/2 hour before open and sit outside the door like some teenager on Black Friday - as it got closer to open, 4 other people were pushing up near me to get in first (never mind the 40 people waiting to get into the main door - don't people have better things to do than wait for Costco to open?)... So I was the first one in that day, discovered the lack of regular rotations necessitated a new set of tires.. So I said "go ahead and install new ones"... it took about 1 hour to get my new tires installed which is ok, but 1 day later had terrible shaking... Apparently the balance weights were not secured on wheel very well and had to take car back to Costco (1/2 hour away)... And now I am waiting another hour to get balancing weights fixed. All in all, any discount you may get here is not worth it at all as you will spend too much time in line with VERY limited service and almost impossible to ever get follow up service. Just spend the same or more at a discount tire and get actual service rather than being thrown into a catlike mentality Costco has become. The people are nice but the setup of a warehouse club trying to give service on something like tires, doesn't work that well.

I have been a regular customer of this Costco for around 12 years if not longer. I have used this tire center numerous times. One thing I have noticed over the recent years is the tire center staff have become very unfriendly. They are rude and intimidating. They make me feel like I am asking for a favor and at their mercy. They seem very unhappy that you are there. They used to be friendly but not anymore. I understand they are busy but that should not be an excuse to behave this way to customers. Last couple of times I took my car to commerce Costco tire center where the staff are very friendly and you can have a conversation there.I was reading some other reviews of this place and it looks like many people share the same feeling. Costco must do something about this if they really care of their customers as this seems to be an issue with their tire center staff only.

While installation cost is included, when you buy a set of tires, which is a good thing - they will refuse to install tires sizes that deviate from OE recommended size. They would rather send me off on no thread on my current - „right“ sized - tires, than putting the porposely larger ordered set on the car. I did my research and made sure I order a size, that will fit on the stock vehicle without scrubbing. And of course they realized that only after 1,5 hours and the wheels had already been taken off.

Costco tire center at Haggerty road, Livonia has one of the worst customer service you can come across. They are rude and more importantly they lie.

This review is for the hearing center in this store. Very good service. I finally decided to get hearing aids and after shopping around I chose Costco. Easy to make a appointment. James was my hearing aid specialist and he did a excellent job of explaining the entire process from testing to picking up the hearing aids. He is very thorough in explaining all aspects of the hearing tests and the fitting fro the aids. Come back in a week and he does additional tests to adjust the hearing aids to my specific hearing deficiencies. James is very patient and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with all the new info he was giving me. These are my first aids and Costco pricing was far better than the other stores I shopped at. I go back in a couple weeks to get a check up and see how I am responding to the current settings of the aids. I am very pleased with this experience and have to say this hearing center in is a go to my book.

Broke my keychain, didn’t offer an explanation or apology, wait time was long but I understand they were busy so I wasn’t upset about that, but the worst was I get my car back and the balance is even worse than when I brought it in! I would avoid this place. honestly, I’ve been a member for 3 years and usually customer service is great but I will not be going back to the tire center.

Overall horrible experience. Extremely long wait times, with no updates to the status of your job.While most employees are super friendly and courteous, a particular individual by the name of Sam will go out of his way to make it the worst possible experience for you, regretting going there in the first place.

Costco in Northville is a oiled machine that treats their customers well. Plenty of products with a wide variety of selection for each.

Rebalanced wheels that were poorly serviced from another local shop - the car was vibrating severely at 75 mph. They fixed it at a very reasonable price ($30). Waiting was a bit long but it was worth it.
