Worst customer experience. Google indicates open until 4pm. We arrived and doors locked. After calling number on the make shift sign in window saying call to make an appointment, we called. We asked if there was any appointment available. Here is the CRAZY part. We were told “NO as others had the courtesy of making any appointment”. Rude and uncalled for must be part of the “benefit” of this business. I wonder what happens if the product you buy here is sub par? Be a smart consumer and don’t chance it.

Purchased a mattress set. We were very pleased with the time Chris took with us as we tried the many different mattresses.Her prices are really fair!!The mattresses were just delivered with exceptional service!!

It’s rare these days to find someone more concerned about meeting or exceeding the customer’s needs rather than just making a sale. Chris and her staff are truly one of a kind. Furniture shopping can be a nightmare, and let’s be real, so can the prices! If you’re in the market for quality furniture without high pressure and fake sales, give her a call! Do not be alarmed at her request for you to make an appointment as it simply ensures that you’ll get her undivided attention.

Chris Furniture is a wonderful local business. I made an appointment and Gary helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I purchased a beautiful, extremely comfortable leather recliner. It was available and delivered to my house the same day. I highly recommend Chris Furniture.

Stopped here based on recommendation, but you can’t walk in and shop. Was told via phone that I had to book an appointment a week out. Too funny. Drove down the street and spent money elsewhere. *shrugs*

Apparently you can only shop by appointment only. We pulled in to the parking lot when they opened and saw the sign so we called. The lady was very rude and laughed at us saying they were booked and we should have called 2 days ago. This is not how you get business. We hung up and went to a different store. We won't be back.

Chris Furniture has high quality, beautiful furniture at reasonable prices but the store isn't all about the furniture, it's all about Chris, the owner. Chris is a beautiful person inside and out and she cares for people and the furniture is a bonus. The store is unassuming but Chris is the gem that makes this store shine more than any furniture store in the Detroit area.

I have several furniture pieces that I bought from Chris many years ago and all of them are still beautiful. Especially beautiful is a birch corner china cabinet and my mahogany bedroom set. Quality. True quality.
