Being an eastsider, we always visit Bell Stone Toffee @ St. Nick's Warehouse craft show @ Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Phenomenal toffee recipe. It is so rich and buttery, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and flavor, that cannot be beat! These will make delicious Christmas gifts to share w/ others!

We bought a bag at the St. Nick's Warehouse craft show Saturday. This toffee is probably the best, freshest, most enjoyable we have eaten. We east siders (Roseville) now have to make a trip to the west side and buy more!

I bought a bag of the dark chocolate toffee from Zingermans and it was kind of tasteless. I have a huge sweet tooth and I didn't find it morish at all. The toffee is not chewy or smooth, but dry and crumbly, which perhaps some people like. To me is just seemed to crumble into nothing and not taste of anything. The chocolate layer on top is extremely thin and you can't taste that either. The best before date was only a week away so perhaps it was old.

Definitely the best toffee EVER. Comparing it to Fannie May Sanders, Russell Stover ......the VERY BEST....a little softer and more flavor, taste more home made...also won't destroy your teeth.
