Bonnie has taken our skiddish, untrained 4 year old Weimaraner to an attentive, well behaved, and easier to handle dog. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family. ?

Bonny did a great job with our dog
She had issues with leash reactivity that were corrected quickly . We also worked on reactivity to vacuums and other appliances
We trained at a variety of venues to give our dog lots of exposure to people and other dogs
She improved so much. Bonny had great tips and ideas to reinforce the training. We would highly recommend this training program

Bonny was absolutely indispensable in helping us train our Papillon! I have had dogs all of my life and thought that I was pretty darn good at training them myself. HAHAHA! HA! I met my match in a 10 week-old, 6- pound, papillon puppy named Maisie. It didn’t matter how much experience I had or how many books I read, Maisie had me at my wit’s end. Now, I really understand just HOW different every dog is. Regardless of how “trainable” a particular breed might be, personality is personality. Bonny helped us identify the ways in which our puppy was ruling the roost and helped us develop the skills and tools we needed to work with this particular little genius without losing our minds. I’m not sure what we would have done without Bonny. Thanks a million!

Our 3-year-old Goldendoodle pulled, lunged, barked and made walking a bad experience. Her constant barking and not obeying our commands were a growing source of irritation. Then Bonny came into our lives. After the first training session I was walking Zosia for the first time with confidence. Working with Bonny, my husband and I learned quite a bit about who was really in charge in our home. Bonny’s professionalism and experience along with practical techniques and advice is what we needed and truly appreciate how she changed our lives.

Bonny was such a great trainer for Mac! She showed my family methods to calm his anxiety and he improved greatly over our in home training sessions. Bonny is very knowledgeable and observent and I highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Alternative Canine Training! We are first time dog owners and took our pup to Puppy Class with Bonny. She was a positive and experienced instructor who took time to watch and help puppies 1 on 1 with each training step we took. She always made sure to ask us how things were going at home and if there was anything additional we’d need help or guidance with, even outside of the training steps we learned during class. Our puppy learned so much, and we really enjoyed our time!

Bonny was very patient and was able to address all of our problems that we were facing with our dog. The tips and checklist that she provided to ensure at home training can be completed was very helpful. Having Bonny listen to all of the areas we were struggling with was great to make sure that our needs were met. Bonnie is an Outstanding Dog Trainer! She is what I would call a Dog Whisperer, My little Teddy who can be quite stubborn responded so well to Bonnie! She teaches you techniques customized to your areas of training that are needed for you Dog and Situation! And trains you how to work with your Dog!
My Daughter used her twice for 2 different dogs and had no hesitation in recommending her to me!
You and your pet will be in very capable hands with Bonnie! I highly recommend her!

Bonnie helped my dog Booker become a good canine citizen and he overcame his reactivity to other dogs. We both actually thoroughly enjoyed the classes and both learned alot. Bonnie was very patient and made sure we understood exactly we had to do.

Bonnie did a great job training my 2 year old dog. Prior to hiring Bonnie, my dog did not have much training and I wasn’t sure where to start. Within 5 minutes, my dog was walking perfect on a leash and had made a huge improvement with commands and reactivity within the 4 sessions I purchased. I would highly recommend hiring Bonnie as a trainer.
