They have the most rudest customer service ever. I got hung up on multiple times and got called a liar cause they couldn’t verify my information. They would tell me one thing but my co-applicant and boss something completely different. Refused to deliver my couch after I made an initial payment plus two more payments. Now they are refusing do refund me my money. I’ve never had problems with rent a center, and I’ve been going through them for years. I don’t know why I’m having such issues now. Do not go here!!!

The process in applying and getting approved was fine, however the delivery was not. The 2 men who delivered my new refrigerator not only damaged by interior door, but also damaged by refrigerator. When I called my store to inquire what could be done, one of the men who delivered the refrigerator answered the phone and tried to turn the damage back on me. He was also very rude and condescending.

This the worst place to get items. The guy Dewayne I spoke with today was rude has no knowledge of his job. I asked months ago to have a protection plan removed however it was not and they have been over charging me. His response today was I was charged today so deal with it. While on the phone with him he was arguing with another customer in the back ground about an item she's been waiting on which he also spoke to her in the same manner. I was trying to fix the situation and he told me he was not gonna argue with me which I was not and he hung up on me. I am contacting cooperate and they will not be receiving another dollar from me until they either credit my account or give me my money they stole frome me. Dwyane is very incompetent and does not know his job nor how to speak to customers. Thank you rent a center for your rude and incompetent employee that would not handle my buisness today

They have zero selection of your expectations from what you want they try and offer you something totally different ie I want all black appliance's they say I can get stainless steel no I would like what I asked for.

The manager is a joke. The way he talks to people is horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if someone kicks his you know what. He acts as if you are stealing if you're late on a payment. Some people pay by the month so if I am a couple weeks behind you don't need to call me everyday twice a day. When I call to make a payment don't get on the phone and argue with me about being late.

I originally started my rental in the riverview store and was treated amazingly by the store supervisor Joe Freeman. I was informed that Joe transferred to the Lincoln Park store and I immediately had my account transferred over to his store. Whenever I'm in the store I am always treated with the utmost respect by Joe and his team. If I have an issue Joe will stop at nothing to make sure I am taken care of. I had to move up my delivery time and date on such short notice and Joe made sure his team was there by the agreed upon time and always make sure I'm satisfied before leaving. If I could give more stars I certainly would. I will definitely be back.

I ordered my set online and I felt like I’ve had to pull teeth all day to get my order confirmed. I tried to for hours and in the end just asked to cancel. I’d rather go without a bedroom set then deal with this incompetent team again. After every phone call i made to them I was told they would call me back. I’d wait the time they’d say plus an extra 30 or so minutes to then have to call them back. To then be met with a brick wall of a response and info they could’ve told me hours ago. Try literally anywhere else for whatever you’re getting it isn’t worth headache.
