“I recently moved to the area and I’m so happy I found Sidetrack! Such a lovely little store with a wonderful staff. My favorite part of my week is dropping by to pick up a book or five. Online ordering is super convenient too!”
“Great collection with good prices & a friendly, helpful staff. I love the children's room with little furniture & stuffed animals. I tend toward the excellent art section. There is a nice local history section.”
“The owner was very professional and informative about the items I was looking for. I will definitely return. The staff also made me feel like family . That's rare in today's society.”
“So it's my partners birthday, and he's a huge Anne Rice fan. Hmmm, I thought. So I googled and this site came up with a 1st edition of Interview of a Vampire. WOW !!! Okay, so that's great. But the story just began. I called. Yes the book was available. It turned out that owner was chatting with me. What a great person - kind, friendly, and so into his books. I mentioned my short time frame - birthday and all. He assured me no problem. I got a lot of emails confirming the status, and arrival, and it even came ahead of plan. This is a shop we should all support. Books are so important in a digital world. Thanks for all the help. I give my partner the book tomorrow and can't wait to see his smile!”
“Being from the suburbs, we've never had exposure to any place like this. We meet the owner and a few others. Conversation was engaging and the atmosphere was relaxed. We came during the day on bikes and had no concerns at all. Go there, you'll have a rich time.”
“Every time I enter this place I am pleased. I find my items and the assistance/service is awesome. I recommend anyone looking for biblical items items please go there.”

This has hands down been my best experience here! And I come a lot!
Whoever that was, If you see this, thank you so much for the suggestions and have a great week!! ? ”
“They didn't have really old books from late 1800's early 1900's, but we're VERY helpful as to where to find them! Would definitely go again if looking for newer book!”
“Enjoy the experience so much that the drive from the far east side doesn't hinder me. The store is about 50 percent book space and the other half fun reading/writing related merch. The staff is great and extremely knowledgeable about todays reader needs.”
11AM - 8PM
2125 S Telegraph Rd suite d, Bloomfield“Took my family here for Free Comic Book Day. It's a great store with a great staff. The stock was ample with lots of variety. They deal in new comics so finding old back stock won't happen here. We'll be back!”
“This is my 2nd time stopping by I couldn't find "the glasses" for my husband and I. They just happened to be giving them away. I was informed by a young lady at the bank. We got our free glasses but I popped in to get my daughter a puzzle and grabbed a book. It's super cute.”
“Great selection of antiquarian books! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Most of the antiquarian books were cheap, too. Some were in bad condition, but mostly good. Would definitely recommend!”
“The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they are able to offer great recommendations on reading. The customer service through their website is really good too; they respond promptly and have good solutions to any issues I have.”
10AM - 3PM
1977 E Wattles Rd, Troy“Cute shop in the corner of the strip mall. The owner was extremely friendly but not pushy, letting me browse to my satisfaction. Catholic theme throughout with sections categorized by Sacrament. Although there are many items available for those who aren’t Catholic. I ended up buying a paper weight and mug, both which were reasonably priced. Parking is free.”
“Excellent Used Book Store!!! They had the book I've been looking for a long time! I tried John King and some others, but, couldn't find it!! Dicey's Song by Cynthia Voight is a book that I read as a teen and wanted to read again! My Heart was Very Happy to have found it here! This wasn't a planned trip, I took my daughter to another store and to pass the time came here, and Wow! I'm so Glad I came! The worker was So Nice and helpful! I got the 30 year old book in hardback, which he said, was a very rare find! Run don't walk the Paper Trail Books! You just might find a long lost book from your youth like I did! The price was Right, $6.50! I was thinking about ordering it online, now, I don't have to worry about it! I'd much rather help this small business!”

“Really great place to go for all manner of books. An enjoyable shop and very reasonable rates :) they have so many different book subjects! I loved being there everything from history to Bible to Hitchcock and so many other books that either I haven't seen before or that I haven't seen in a long time.It is very refreshing to find a shop with so many different topics and types of things. There were even books on self help and some politics just to name a few :)”

“This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”
“Fantastic customer service! They have a genuine interest in helping people find items to learn and grow in their faith. Shop small and get a better experience, for sure. I highly recommend this store!”
“Mayflower Bookstore is truly a gem! I love this bookstore and Robert, and am most thankful for the gift he's given us all. It's not just books he's gifted us with but also his wisdom and music. What a blessing!!! Your money could not be better spent!!!”
“Hidden gem! Great selection of diverse books for children and adults. Black and brown characters! Local authors! Owners are wonderful! You can tell they love what they do.”
