Wonderful hometown pharmacy. Staff is very kind. I had my medication home delivered due to my illness. My medication had to be ordered, and it was delivered by the following day after the medication came in. Roger's Pharmacy made me feel that everything was in good hands-- and, it was!It is also a plus that Roger's is a compounding pharmacy.Don't have any hesitation about trying this pharmacy. My experience with them has been very positive.I highly recommend Roger's Pharmacy.

My bird Jesse has heart medication made from here every few months.. They are friendly when you need to speak with them and I get her medicine within 1 to 2 days max. She likes the banana flavor!!Thank you so much!!

Roger’s Pharmacy is the best! They always answer their phone. Their employees are professional, kind and caring. They can deliver prescriptions right to your door for free which is fantastic because a lot of days I don’t feel good. It’s so nice for them to offer this service free of charge.

Strange place. I needed a compounded medication- really not compounded, just mixed but the chain pharmacies refuse to dump multiple ingredients into a bottle together. Roger's Pharmacy would do it and it was close so that was where the doctor sent the script. The pharmacy technician called me for my medical insurance- what an interesting conversation that was. For several minutes I literally gave her every number on my insurance card again and again and she was just beyond confused about it all. Then I heard a man say- very irritably- "it's right there, it's done" and she tells me that the medication will be available the next day, says goodbye, and hangs up. It was odd, but I assumed that she was a new employee who hadn't been trained well yet. Everyone has to be new sometime so I let it go. It's almost a 30 minute drive to the store, so the next day I call to make sure the medication was ready and the same girl acts as if she hadn't told me the medication would be prepared and I had just called for a refill, then gives me a pickup time a few hours later. I asked her why it would be so long since it was now 24 hours after our initial phone call and she told me that "compounded medications have many, many ingredients" and generally spoke about Magic Mouthwash as though it requires lengthy magical rites to make. Whatever, the time worked for me so I rolled with it. When I got there it didn't seem like my medical insurance had been billed because the copay was for an unusual amount. I asked if the insurance had denied coverage and was told it had been covered. I can't say if it was or wasn't, but I don't usually pay that odd amount for medication.I have an unusual amount of experience with pharmacies, both chains and independents. I really want to see independents flourish, but it's hard when people have experiences like I did- most would become very frustrated. I am not sure if I would trust this pharmacy with a complex medication- Magic Mouthwash is just about the easiest thing to make and just requires pouring a certain weight or volume of several different things into one bottle, adding flavoring, and shaking it up. My medical insurance is provided by one of the largest employers in Lapeer and it's not an unusual one so I don't understand what the problem was. I hate to cause any problems, but people should know what they're getting into- especially when it comes to medications. Serious problems can happen when people aren't paying attention.The employees at the store were friendly and all three of them smiled when I arrived. Maybe they're just getting started and they will get the kinks worked out eventually, but I strongly suggest that doing so sooner rather than later would be a good idea. It's one of the few compounding pharmacies in the area, so many will have to use them but I recommend checking everything before you leave the store.This wasn't the worst experience- please don't misunderstand me. It was just a strange one. I hope future experiences are significantly better so I can change this review- local businesses must be supported, especially local pharmacies. We need businesses that don't sacrifice customer service to profit and only local businesses will ever be able to provide that.
