This was probably the worst place i've ever worked. The managers were so lazy. My boss in merchandising just sat in the back room and did nothing, and rewarded the seasonal summer only workers with good schedules. The union literally punished their employees and told them they had to stay etc because they signed the union contract lol (which is mandatory now). I will say this, I appreciate the associate workers, and I have their backs. It's a tough job and somebody has to do it!

Always clean, helpful staff, main items in stock, new self scans are very nice. Wish they still stocked some items that they did prior to the pandemic.
As much as I like self checkout and scan & go, I still feel they need more than a single traditional checkout open during the day. If doing more than "fill in shopping" it isn't easy to self check.

If you need a large variety of different items (groceries,clothes, home goods, etc.) this is your store! But, if you just want a few groceries this store is way too big!

really nice store, much better than Walmart or Kroger. The only complaint I have to make is that they shouldn’t have live fish. I don’t know whose idea it was to carry actual pet fish in meijer, but it’s a terrible idea…I seen several dead fish just floating around which is a bit concerning. Not like big stores such as pet co are any better, but I really wish they wouldn’t treat fish like that.
