Never again, never put my dresser mirror back on and didnt account for my 100 dollar deposit. Over charged for a 2 block move. One young guy complained he wasn't paid enough. Horrible customer service.

5 stars are just not enough. I would give them more if I could. I would have saved myself a lot of headaches and frustrations if I would have called Scott at Local Moves first. I won't make that mistake again. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Local Moves will be who I call.I paid very close attention to both the loading and unloading phases. There is not one ding, dent, scratch, chip, mark or broken item. No move is ever perfect, I looked and looked and checked every item. Looking for anything to take away a star. I found nothing negative and nothing to complain about.The crew on the truck were wonderful. Nathan, Doug, Dillon, you know who you are. Now so does anyone that reads this. They were personable, polite, respectful, courteous and communicative. Not just with me, but with each other as well. A great example of teamwork.I haven't mentioned rates yet. My estimated quote from Scott was far below any of the other quotes I received. To make things even better, the final price at the end of the move was way lower than the quoted price. I saved hundreds of dollars. Thank you Scott.I'm not sure what Scott's definition of the word "local" is, but he sent a truck and crew 100+ miles to provide a service for me. The move itself was 200+ miles. After all the loading, unloading and miles driven, the truck and crew still had to return to their home base. What a great company.Thank you Pat T. for the recommendation.

My family just used Local Moves in November of 2023. This review could be 4 pages long and with not one negative! I met with the owner , Scott about a month before we moved and also met with 2 other companies to compare. It was very obvious to me that Scott’s company was who I wanted to do the move for my family. Scott was absolutely fantastic and just a great guy and to top it off was very affordable with all the stuff we had to move. When the moving days came we knew it was gonna take 2 days to move everything and it’s always a little nerve wracking but it truly couldn’t have went any better. The crew that showed up were the hardest working men I have ever met and were an absolute joy to spend two days with !! Their work was unbelievable and they cared for each item like it was there own. My wife actually commented on how much fun they were even while working nonstop and making sure everything was perfect. If u are looking at using a moving company do not waste your time even looking at other companies , this is the one in every aspect !!! Thank u to Scott and his entire crew at Local Moves, you guys are a first class business in our community !Respectfully, Scott and Nicole McKenna.

Local Moves was a lucky find for us! We originally were going with one of those companies with “a truck and something about handsome guys and junk” in their title. After wrangling about price and calendar dates with those others , we on impulse googled for local movers and ‘walla’, the rest was history. The two guys that came to unpack our POds into the house were fast, careful, AND personably pleasant. They asked my preference on placement of items many times and never with attitude other than politeness and eagerness to serve. Their charge was absolutely reasonable. We were 100% pleased. Go with Local Moves and treat yourself to real service!

Greg and Brandon were right on time, got everything done in a very timely manner, they were fun to spend the day with but always professional at the same time.
