3528 N Lapeer Rd, Lapeer“One of the nicest gas stations I have visited. The interior is very comfortable and relaxing which surprisingly isn't what I thought I would first mention but I don't like feeling closterphobic. This station does not make me feel that way. It also is always clean inside and out and properly maintained.
The owner is independent so support our local economy, god bless Americans. The staff are extremely kind hearted people, outgoing and friendly. If there is tension or dissatisfaction amongst the employees then I have not sensed it. They seem very happy to be there. Also the owner isn't afraid to try new things like having a taco stand in the station or selling pressure fried chicken.
The best part is the place is well organized making it easy to find whatever you are looking for, they also carry very unusual products that you won't find anywhere else. This makes for a unique experience. I definitely am giving it a 5 star rating without having lingering doubts that it may be only 4 stars.
Also to people who drink alcohol, they do carry liquor and are one of the few stations in Michigan that I have seen doing that. Great selection of beer in their well stocked coolers.”

This old lady is grateful to this employee. Wish I had gotten his name! Sometimes it isn't about the service but about the compassion. If you're in this area, please give them your business. ???”

715 S Main St, Lapeer“I got everything in the photos for less than $20. That’s a beautiful looking pizza, and it tasted even better. The guy who took our order also brought it out to my car in the rain so I didn’t have to sit inside and wait. Then, he threw in two extra boscos. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE! The service, food, it was all outstanding. Thank you”
“Independently owned, and they have a great staff who are autheticly happy with their jobs or at least satisfied enough that they are not shuffling through employees. This makes it easy to establish and relate to the awesome employees who care about their regulars. This is also is a trucking station with showers for the truckers.Restrooms are spotless, as is the product floor. They sell many varieties of self-serve coffee and donuts for your morning fix. And as for lunch, they have a deli located within the facility that makes fresh subs and sandwiches.Unique products that are unfindable at other convenience stores and even at supermarkets such as Traverse City cherry jerkey, which I gave a try and was blown away. Expect to pay around 10 cents more for gas than other gas stations in the area. The product selection prices are very reasonably priced as well, not too high, not too low.I had considered working there because of flexible shift scheduling and the higher than average pay rate ($13-$14 per hour and more in some cases). The owner is a cigar aficionado and has a small humidor of top shelf cigars. Overall, the only station in lapeer that can compete with Clark gas station in cleanliness, product organization, and variety. It is also in a good location, next to the highway entrance ramp and a popular station for morning and evening commute. However, the only drawback like the Clark station is that it is very near the railroad, but I won't knock off a star for its only downside.Remember to support independently owned local buisness to support the local economy.”

579 E Genesee St, Lapeer“Hit or miss when it comes to attendant friendliness/expediency. I have waited a number of times for the attendant to finish their conversation/cigarette outside before coming in to help me. That said, gas prices are usually pretty good and if you pay at the pump, you can avoid the chance of waiting on an attendant.”

1515 Demille Rd, Lapeer“My family & I do not often visit the Meijer of Lapeer because we live closer to Flint. During this week's power outages, my 68 year old mother decided to visit her friend in Lapeer to check in on her. She then went to the Meijer store, followed by the Meijer gas station. Since her visit, she has not stopped talking about how delighted she was. She tells us that even though it was windy & there were several cars in the parking lot, a young man working out in the gas station stopped what he was doing to help her with her gas. She apologized to him as she felt like a bother at first.. The young man smiled at her and told her it was no trouble at all and he was happy to help. He asked what grade of gas preferred, if she wanted to fill the tank, and really seemed happy to do it. She was amazed at how good of a mood he seemed to be in, considering how busy the store was. After he pumped the gas for her, he came back over to tell her the total. She reached for her money and realized she forgot her bottle of water at her friend's house. She asked if the young man could bring her money inside, pick her up a bottle of water, then use her money to pay for the gas and water. He did so with a smile, and made her feel like she was Meijer's only customer. He even asked if she had a preference of brand or size of the bottle. He then returned with her change, receipt, and a bottle of water for her. She then offered him a tip to show her appreciation, he politely declined and told her that he was just happy to help. The moment my mother got home she could not wait to tell us about how kind this young man was to her. She said it was a level of service only seen in in television commercials. The only thing that upsets her is the fact that she cannot remember his name. She described him as a "big guy" and remembered him having many tattoos. An exact quote from her was "At first glance I could not beleive someone with all that art could work at a store, but his customer service showed me why they hired him". That is actually the part of the story that stuck with me the most. Meijer did not discriminate and allowed someone with body modifications to work for their company, and got a quality employee in return. A lot of companies would judge a book by it's cover refuse to hire guys that look like him. My mother described the young man as a gentlemen, and someone that cared about his customers. She has needed help with her gas at other stations before, and employees at those other companies did not make her feel nearly as welcome or as important. I just wanted to applaud Meijer and this young man for going the extra mile to provide quality service to the community. My mother has never spoken so highly of an employee anywhere ever before, and hopes his commitment to his customers is recognized.”

9 E Genesee St, Lapeer“The day staff is wonderful and very friendly, and their pizza is better than most here in Lapeer. However I will not be returning to this location in the evening again as long as that rude blonde chick is still working there. She shot me a dirty look after I wished her safety driving home after her shift tonight while the roads are still slick. Ok, I get it. Working in a gas station sucks. But don't take it out on customers who are trying to genuinely be friendly. Maybe she needs to look for another job not related to customer service.”
“Very convenient location, owners Mike and Tony are good folks!
They keep the gas prices consistently lower than other stations in the area. They have a fairly large selection of products for a convenient store.”
