This was my first year filling taxes as I just turned 18 and got my first job. They were 100% unprofessional. I felt completely helpless. My taxes were some how not filled correctly by them and now I am struggling to try and figure this out. Whoever called me to file it was very strange. And they have very restrictive hours. I work 9-5 Monday thru Friday and can never get ahold of them because they are only open these same hours but Monday thru Thursday. I have left countless messages and get no call back. Would never come here again.

3 stars for an okay experience; my taxes were done in a matter of an hour and I was able to see the same person I have seen for years -which was great. However, therein lies the issue: I have been using X-Tax for years and when I brought my insurance information so that I didn't have to pay the full $125 (if you bring your insurance decleration you get $25 off), I was told it was the wrong document even though it was proof that my vehicle is insured; so I paid the full price. I worked with this guy for almost a decade and he just felt cold as a person to what I was saying. I have received no discounts despite working with X-Tax for a number of years, the preparer I worked with didn't explain how the declaration I brought in was wrong, nor did he give me the option for a chance to find the "correct page" so that I could apply my discount. That said, hopefully this is the last year I use X-Tax.

We have been utilizing the West Saginaw X-Tax 1-Day Tax Service location for a few years now and recommend them to all our friends and family. The staff is very friendly, we have never had any concerns. The turnaround has always been very quick. I feel they have done a good job getting a system setup during the pandemic. Their online portal that I used this year worked out perfectly. Even though the online portal and talking over the phone worked out great, I really do look forward to the day that we can get back into the office and meet face-to-face again.
