So I do want to start by saying that I’m not a client here, and based on the experience I had with a the group of vet techs that came on our property the other day, I never will be. Earlier this week a neighborhood dog who likes to take off every once and awhile got out (haven’t seen her in awhile either so it’s not a daily/weekly issue)
While I was walking my dog on a leash, a vet tech (I assume) came running onto our property and asked me if I’d seen a dog (provided description) I personally know the owners of the dog as they are customers at my business across the street from the vet. After talking with her, she seemed very concerned as somebody had witnessed the dog being hit, I went inside and called my customer using the information stored on our database. His family was immediately on it, as it’s a very loved family dog. She’s super sweet, just skittish and doesn’t approach people she doesn’t know! Stranger danger right? By this point, she had already RAN back to her house (I saw her when I pulled into open, before the vet tech came up to me) (it didn’t appear at all that she was injured. She was still running/ SPRINTING and showed zero signs of injury when we spoke) after that, while on the phone with the owner, like 3-4 other techs came walking up looking for her… they had a very poor attitude and told me to call animal control after I told them I’d talked to the owners and it was being taken care of… I found that experience to be unprofessional and made me highly uncomfortable. I thought you just wanted to make sure the dog was okay, but truly it’s clear you guys were angry at the owner (who was working) for something completely out of his control. Do you assume all animals who get loose are owned by people who don’t care? Is your first response to try and find the owner or just call animal control? I definitely think that the poor attitude was a big part of what made me uncomfortable, that and being literally mean mugged by people I’ve never seen in my life before on OUR property mind you… but then advising me to call animal control on a dog who has a caring owner… yea so I just wanted to say that so somebody in charge can correct discuss that with these techs, you should these situations more professionally in the future, because my owner has taken his dogs to this business and because of this interaction I never would. I would be completely uncomfortable and would fear judgment from the staff!

They take care of us like family. Their price reflects their value.

Caring staff that takes the time to answer questions and really explain about pet care, for both crisis care and general checkups. They're popular, so getting a timely appt can be difficult, but they'll call you on a cancelation list when they can. Very happy to have found this vet staff for my pets.

Never again!
Took my puppy to MSU and the puppy was discharged, but still needing obvious medical care.
So remembering that they helped me with an emergency years before my I lived in Lansing, I decided to rush my puppy there and with the 20 minutes for them to unlock the front door & let me in. I tell them the puppy is three weeks old and reaming from what we can figure out due to abdominal pain and lethargic. Advise me that even though they are open, there is no vet.
But then they decided to go talk to their critical team. And then come back and tell me they can see me at 2:30 in the afternoon. My head confused and I don’t even live in this area anymore. I highly doubt the puppy would survive that much longer. Then without even glancing at the computer, tell me they have a 1030 open too. Again refuse standing there with the critically ill puppy who can’t wait for medical care.
They didn’t decide to tell me that the puppy probably just needs to go home and nurse on its mother ? normally critical pt’s aren’t aloud to eat. But if the dog was capable of eating, it probably wouldn’t be at the vet to begin with. I
As I I am just baffled at this point because the puppy can’t even move!
I would just love to know why these people work at a vets office when they could care less about animals.

Excellent care for your pets. New to area, didn't have a vet. Cat had unexpected issue and vet made time for us on a Saturday before a holiday, without ever having seen us before. Really appreciated the extra effort!

If you're looking for an impersonal veterinary experience, this is the vet for you. There is one vet there that I really like so I have put up with the management and the rest of the staff. Today I was told I need to pay $66 deposit down on an office visit. I told them I was done. Another experience I can share is when I was watching my mom's dog and was running low on a Science Diet prescription dog food for him that I knew they sell. They wanted an office visit even though originally they said yes they could fill it if my mom's vet called it in. When I went in to get it, they changed and said no. So then my mom's vet called it into PetSmart who filled it with no problem. Talk about extortion/greed and plain stupid. Then during COVID, they were over the top. Every time we had to utilize them, it was a new level of insanity. So seeing that their reviews are pretty low already is no surprise. Goodbye Dr. Stuller. So sorry we couldn't say goodbye in person. I can no longer put up with the rudeness and arrogance of the management and those people at the desk.

I enjoy their boarding bc they have private rooms. Regarding the hospital, I would not recommend after being with them for two years. Their process of checking in and out animals is chaotic and leaves everyone vulnerable for harm. 2/3 of my dogs went here and now will be going elsewhere.

First time bringing our cats here. Liked the separate waiting areas for cats and dogs.
Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Would recommend Waverly Animal Hospital to anyone.

Except I think the condo she stayed in could have been kept cleaner.. Everything I brought back home either had to be washed or throne away... Because of urine sat her action..
