I have severe asthma and when I try to get my life saving medication from this location they just cancel my order so I’m forced to go back to the hospital month after month and every time I try to get my prescription filled they just cancel it

Oh hell nah, how the pharmacist hang up in my face. Now I'm usually the one defending them cuz I know they're short staffed, but hanging up on me will release my inner aunt Karen! Do better! ✌️❤️

To be 100% transparent, I’m writing this while I’m still very angry.. my 4 year old is sick & puking. Went to urgent care & got her checked out, they sent a prescription to Walgreens. The pharmacist called me while I was still in urgent care & said the insurance was not showing up. That if I wanted to pay $200 for the anti-nausea medicine than I could do that, but other than that there’s nothing he could do, I’d have to call the insurance. I told him that the insurance spelled her name weird, I couldn’t remember if they spelled it without the apostrophe or if they have her first & middle name just as her first name, either way, I tried getting it sorted out over the phone. That didn’t work. So after leaving urgent care in Dewitt, I drove to Walgreens. I wait for about 10 minutes behind someone in the drive thru. They leave & I pull up. I tell the pharmacist that I’m there to pickup the prescription for my daughter. He tells me that I’ll have to come inside to sort it out or I’ll have to call the insurance.. I ask him what difference does it make if I come in or if I am in the drive thru. He states that there are people behind me & it will take too long. I go in & speak to the pharmacy tech who was MUCH nicer. He checks & says that there’s a few error messages popping up that HE would call the insurance & see if they would cover it & see what the other codes meant. I timed it, from the time we started speaking to the time he offered a solution & I started to walk out, 2 minutes and 4 seconds… the pharmacist couldn’t be bothered.. what a shame. Luckily I had someone with me in the car, so I didn’t have to drag my sleeping, sick, 4 year old in there with me. Never will I have a prescription filled here again.

super unhelpful staff when trying to get a prescription filled right. They won't deal with calling the doctors themselves, so you get sent back and fourth saying "we already sent the perscription over". I don't care who dropped the ball really, I need my medications.

If I could put negative stars I would. They were closed due to not enough staffing which is fine. I called the 800 number to the photo spot to see if I could cancel my order and she said that she can’t do it but that she can call the store for me as I was waiting at curbside as instructed. So she merges the call and the manager at this location explained the staffing issue and said she can’t bring me the photos. So then she asked my name to look up the order for cancelation and claims I only thought I sent the photos there as she does not have an order for pickup. I explained that my email specified to pick them up at this location and even had her confirm the address. She kept speaking down on me with zero empathy and saying I should call around to the other stores and see if they have my order. She was terribly rude and unprofessional. Trying to make it like I had sent them to a different store when I can show the confirmation email but she didn’t want to see it cause she knew she was wrong.

This Walgreens has really gone downhill. About 4 or 5 years ago they were dependable. Now, you go through the drive thru they make a line wait over 20 minutes because 1 person took a covid test. Why not have that person wait in the lot and then get back in line so that other customers can get what they need and be on their way. They also close regularly due to "No Pharmacist on duty". I see why the Walgreens down the street DO NOT mess with this pharmacy. They are VERY disorganized and there is no common sense, no structure, and unprofessional. They got a 2 for convenience.

This has possible got to be the worst service I’ve ever received in my entire life. I ordered two prints from the print shop online. One of them I ordered first because I was having problems with my computer, I got the confirmation that the order was ready to be picked up. The other order I accidentally chose the option to pay at the store. I currently cannot make it to that location so I called the store and asked them if I could pay over the phone. The woman, who sounded confused by the task, told me that I could not do that so I had to cancel that order. I said alright I’ll reorder it. I did just that and received the email that both orders were ready to be picked up. My boyfriend calls me and tells me, not only is it not ready, that there is no single order from me. My Walgreens account says that both of my orders are ready for pick up at that location. The woman, who is yelling over the phone at my boyfriend, is rude and very insistent that I don’t have any orders. I sent the confirmation status of both things and they say they have been paid for and ready to pick up. I’m guessing she cancelled all my orders on accident and doesn’t want to admit it. Either way I paid for those items and I have to buy them again, at a completely different Walgreens mind you. Worst service ever.

While I am level headed and understand that there is a staffing shortage, this Walgreens has THE WORST customer service. My boyfriend went in to get an oximeter and some nasal strips. He asked the cashier if they had any and she pointed him in the general direction. I noticed he had been in there for about 30 minutes so I went in to check on him when he told me nobody would help him find these damn nasal strips. I walked back to the front and asked the cashier (who looked like she was working very hard and asking questions to the woman at the photo counter) if anybody who wasn’t busy could help us. She walked over to the photo counter where I noticed an employee was sitting down enjoying her A&W (not worried about greasing up the photos?). My boyfriend ended up finding it as I was talking to the cashier in the front. I called to talk to a manager about it (Diane?) and all she did was give excuses. No apology for the 30 minute search. Sad excuse for a manager. Instead of making excuses maybe she should go help her employees. Zaire was the cashier who was working hard. Kudos to her.

I don't know what has happened to Walgreens, I use to like this pharmacy but lately they have been difficult to work with, they have a nasty attitude & they just refused to transfer the last medication I have with them. I have had them transfer medications before with no problem but not this time & it's not even a controlled medication. It must be the new employees but I am extremely happy that I'm leaving Walgreens for good. Anyone interested in having a better pharmacy experience, go to Central pharmacy West Saginaw hwy. There, they treat you like you matter, unlike Walgreens that acts like they don't need your business. It's your medication & money that keeps Walgreens in business. You've been forewarned.

The customer service here is by far the BEST I've had at in a long time.. over any Walgreens stores I've been to.. Its nice to see how clean it is, especially when you see them cleaning it in front of you!!! :)Although their pharmacy is down right now, and it's been a couple weeks.. I was a little worried I wasn't able to get my prescription.. BUT the kind pharmacist woman was able to give me more information, to help get it transferred to a different walgreens!I'm glad they're are still attempting to work on the problem, as they should.Thank You again For the assistance!
