I had the worst experience not only with the local two men and a truck franchise but also their corporate office. There was a complete miscommunication and miscalculation of fees and charges added on. I also experienced a horrible conversation with the local manager while discussing the situation of items moved that were not supposed to be moved and requested to be addressed. He verbally attacked me and then when I requested a response to my question he hung up on me. The corporate office was notified of the treatment and fiasco surrounding fraudulent charges and they did nothing to understand or resolve the issue satisfactorily. Instead they put all responsibility on me to resolve the issue with the local office that already mistreated me. Terrible business and awful customer service. I would rate them a 0 if I could.

I am not understanding some of the low ratings. Two Men and a Truck, specifically this team is absolutely amazing! From the first call to end of service, they were helpful, professional, polite, and made our tight timeline work. Price was extraordinarily economical. The service was spot on; on time, fast, and delivered superior service. I'll never use any other company to move now!

*This is for the Clarkston, MI location
Don’t do it!!! If I could go back in time and select another moving company I would. This was a complete disaster from start to finish! I hired them to move my things from my family home to an apartment down the street, and after loading all of belongings up in about 35 minutes, the movers got the truck stuck on my front lawn and were unable to get out. This led to them calling a tow truck which took around an hour and half to come. The truck wrecked my lawn and was sitting on our in-ground sprinkler system until the tow truck came. After assuring me they would take care of the damages to my lawn and sprinkler system, they also stated that they would complete the job free of charge for the inconvenience. Which of course sounds too good to be true, hence why I made sure to clarify with them MULTIPLE times.
Well, I was right. They then proceeded to call me back on Monday saying I owe them the rest of the moving fees…..the remaining balance didn’t even match what I was originally quoted!!! They refused to send anyone out to look at or fix my lawn until the balance was paid. The movers were friendly, but the managers and receptionist are exceptionally rude and arrogant, and frankly couldn’t seem to care less about the damages to my lawn, sprinkler, or any of the inconveniences I faced.
The whole situation is absolutely ridiculous. The nerve to get a moving truck stuck in MY front lawn and own MY sprinkler system, forcing us to wait over an hour for a tow truck which proceeded to tow the truck across my lawn, and then try to make ME pay is absolutely absurd! Then the nerve to get smart with me as if they weren’t the ones who screwed up is absolutely ridiculous. It’s such a shame the managers and receptionist are crooks, because the movers themselves were extremely friendly and apologetic about the lawn. Just thought I’d do a good deed and try to keep someone else from getting played!

Mark and Jacob were awesome!!! They reviewed what was to be moved and where. My aim was to accomplish my goal of moving the heavy Penny Mustard tv console from the basement to the second floor.Mark and Jacob accomplished the task at hand efficiently and timely. Calling upon a mover means putting your TRUST into someone else’s hands and I am happy to say that I was in very good hands with Jacob and Mark!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! Marina

I will never hire these movers again. I'm actually giving them 0 stars. Everything that was told to me that they would do, wasn't done. NO carpet protection, NO wrapping of furniture, put tables on top of one another, said I didn't need a TV box even though I had ordered one, piled all 12 of my small and medium boxes on their cart and a box fell off scratching and denting the contents, I lost 30 minutes of paid time because they didn't know where they were going (even though he had gps) and couldn't find the entrance of the building. The final blow? I had a very small and simple move and was charged for 2.5 hours... $400+. Then, to add insult to injury, I gave them each a $20 tip because I truly appreciate the services I get from others because I'm a disabled senior citizen and can't do for myself anymore. Two Men and a Truck better train their staff properly and teach them what professional movers are supposed to be like, instead of lining their pockets with profit. My whole building saw what Two Men and a Truck's professional, expensive moving services looks like. They lost a lot of potential business that day!!! YOU PUT PROFITS ABOVE PEOPLE...SHAME ON YOU!!

This company has the worst drivers imaginable and has costed me several thousand dollars because they have to merge onto the internet infront of an oversized load and no one's trying to take responsibility nor trying to find the responsible party. Had I not been able to stop a 97,000 pound semi and destroy parts of my truck it would not only have cost the life of there driver but possibly mine and others around. If they care so little about the life's of humans do you think they will care about your stuff they transport? And it's not like I'm not visible

In May 2023 we Hired Two Men and A Truck - Pearland to move a few rooms for a reno into our garage and back into the home at a later date. When we moved back in, we had some furniture damage and filed a claim. What we thought was a straight forward process. The company they used were random guys - Paul - and his son who were incapable of proper communication. I'm not sure if they were even a repair company, or just individuals. I had been calling/ texting constantly for updates on when they'd show up. When Paul's son finally came out they were only able to partially repair some items and needed to come back. Months later, the Dad, Paul, was unaware of what needed to be done and had to reschedule again as he didn't have the tools needed. I never heard back. I contacted Sabrina many times and was told they were indeed having issues with Paul, their repair vendor and to find my own repair company, send her the invoice and they will submit payment for it. The only problem was these other companies charged just to inspect the furniture and then many didn't do in home repairs. Another moving cost plus repair - I did not think it was fair for me to pay upfront on a claim that was supposed to be covered by the movers already. I've since not heard back from Sabrina. My initial claim was May 2023. Paul and his team came out 2 times which spanned from June 5th to September 7th 2023 and little to no communication in between. I finally stopped trying to get ahold of them. (One of the repairs actually worsened my nightstand scuff and is more noticeable than before.) I contacted Sabrina again throughout this time and from Oct. 2023 to Jan. 31st 2024 I have not gotten a response from her whatsoever on a resolution. At this point I do not trust them to honor their damage claims and would not recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience of my life. Charged me $2430 to move 2bedroom apartment across the street. Damaged over $1000 of my belongings . Friends paid different company $1380 for same move. Very unprofessional. Very YOUNG people. Took advantage of a senior totally!!!! Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

I wouldn’t use this company. I had a few years ago and it was awesome. This time there an issue of lost possessions. My two franchises (Sacramento Ca and northern va for dc) refused to talk to each other to problem solve this — which would have been easy to do when the loaders placed a box that broke in a different one when my number one labeled priority box was missing. They could have communicated this to the unloaders but both blamed the other location and told me to file a police report. They refused to communicate. I don’t think they’re movers who care like the slogan says. Don’t recommend during an already stressful time.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. This is NOT a professional moving company with properly trained employees. I was an army wife for ten years and have moved many times over the years. This is, by far, the least professional moving company I have even experienced and the most careless. My husband and I bought a sofa --modular unit --which was less than 4 years old. The company damaged the sofa which requires total reupholstery. The cost of the sofa was approximately $5,900 (we keep our sofas for many years---20+). The cost to repair the sofa is $6,200. The company is offering "life kind and quality" to replace it which they have determined to be $1,600.Unbelievable! Part of our belongings are in storage and I dread seeing other damage when we remove them. What irks me is that the move was local (2 miles), although our things went partially to an apt and most to storage. The entire process was very disorganized. TMT did not have a proper plan to handle this---so incredibly frustrated and disappointedPlease be careful!!! I do not recommend this mover.

My review is from the flint mi. Millet rd location. I hired them to move my garage things, I wasn’t told that anything with gas they couldn’t move, and I was told they would call when on their way, they called when they arrived, and I explained that the police would be coming, he wanted to wait, I said no, they are for MY safety, he wanted to tag on extra time for waiting, and then they didn’t even pack the truck and just finished without a full load into the truck, myself and a 14 year old packed a truck smaller and fit everything into it in less time, I also explained that they are not to talk to the 2 males that were there and that they were there to cause problems, so they did anyway and was packing stuff into the truck that wasn’t even mine. Now I have to return these items to the owner at my expense. They refused to listen to directions and were taking totes before they were full and when I mentioned something about it, I have an attitude, of course I do when you don’t listen to directions and I’m paying you!!!!

I would never recommend this company in Florence,SC If it was possible I would give them a minus zero because I have had so much trouble with this company in Florence! Horrible to deal with these people n trying to get a list of my belongs in storage was impossible to be able to use another company to move them. I asked for an inventory list but I have been refused many times and a copy of my contract but to no avail. Now they are charging me $5000.00 to move my things out of the warehouse they are in!! I even complained to the corporate office but still nothing !
