“I stopped in to have my tire pressure checked. I was told to come back by an older man behind the counter. The 2nd time I came back I was told the wait would be more than an hour by this same man. I ran an errand, came back within 30 minutes and there was this lovely lady behind the counter, who immediately got one of the men in the shop to assist me. The gentleman who assisted me, patiently showed me how to check the tire pressure for myself. I gave this a 5 star rating, because the 3rd time was definitely a charm!!!”

“This is hands down the absolute best mechanic/auto repair shop I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing and I've been to my fair share of mechanics over the years. Most of the time I work on my own vehicles and am pretty knowledgeable about what parts need to be replaced when they break, the older I get the less desire/time I have to work on my vehicles myself so after having some bad/dishonest experiences at other shops I eventually found Randy and his guys at this Muffler Man in Lansing and I will never go anywhere else ever again as long as they are there. These guys are 100% honest about what the issue is with your vehicle and won't try to create extra work for themselves (its not like they need too) when the vehicle doesn't need it like alot of less honest shops do. They are straight shooters and are great at communicating with their customers. They seem to understand that alot of people dont have unlimited funds to dump into their vehicles so they try to be as economical as possible with the repairs in my experience. Very friendly. They have a large waiting area with a television, kid friendly, clean restroom and Randy even has a little area when you first walk in that has non perishable food items and clothing items that him and his guys donate (and customers if they choose too) for anyone who is in need to take what they can use. To me, that alone is a SURE SIGN of the type of shop this is, they truly care about their customers and the people in the community. If you need any type of repairs done on your vehicle you can't go wrong stopping in at this Muffler Man, give them a shot and just like me youll never need to find another mechanic. I wish that all business owners would operate the way that Randy does, they "get it" here. Thanks a million and then some for all that you and your guys have done for me. Car repairs can be a real nightmare but you guys have always made the experience much more tolerable and knowing that my hard earned money is going to a humble, honest, hard working business like yours makes the experience even better.”

“Stopped at 8:30 Tuesday morning to get air in my right rear tire. These are all terrain light truck tires that require around 80 lb psi. Most convenient stores charge $2 for two minutes and their capacity is only about 50 lb. The young shop mechanic came out and topped off all four of my tires. Very friendly and helpful.”

“FAST,FAIR,HONEST AND GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.I replaced the throttle body on my 2011 silverado. Afterwards I needed to have the idle reset. It was running at 3500 rpm and would not go back to normal. Even after doing all the recommended procedures. The ecm had to be reprogrammed. After calling several different shops and dealers. They all wanted at least $300 and a week to do it. The guys at Auto Lab got me right in and it was only $62. The truck runs absolutely great. I've always done all my own repairs. Since I don't have the very expensive scan tools to reprogram the ecm myself I needed help and fast. I would recommend these guys to anyone.”

“Last week I had such a pleasant oil change experience. I called 40 minutes ahead to make sure oil change services were still available for that day. I pulled in at 4:40 and the man in charge was apologetic that I'd have to wait about an hour for my oil change because the day crew was getting ready to leave (I was already expecting to wait, so this was not bothersome to me at all, but I thought his being apologetic about it was incredibly kind). Then he came in the waiting room to tell me the day crew could change the oil in 15 minutes, so it would be ready sooner than expected. On top of that, one of the crew members who changed my oil rang me up at the register and was so friendly! I figured most people would be disgruntled to do one more job at the end of their shift, but she had a happy demeanor and was very pleasant. I definitely think this crew went above and beyond and I wanted to commend them for their excellent customer service!”
