Please update your hours as to when the business is open or closed. I checked online to see what time it closed and it showed 6:00 p.m on Sunday. When I arrived yesterday at 5:00 p.m, the store was closed. I value my time so please update your hours if you are going to close earlier than it shows online. Thank you.

*UPDATE* I was able to speak with the manager, Zane, of this location. He was very kind and processed the return. I give HIM 5+ stars. Very unfortunate that he is leaving the industry after 9 yrs working for the Soldans family! ***BE ADVISED THAT SOLDANS IS NO LONGER A LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESS WITH CUSTOMER-CENTERED RETURN POLICIES. THEY ARE NOW CORPORATE. My experience with that change is outlined below.*** I have been a Soldan's customer for YEARS. I stopped in to purchase dog food yesterday at the MLK location and learned that the food I buy is being discontinued by Earthborn, so I purchased something else. The cashier asked if I wanted a receipt. Mistakenly, I said "no." In all my years supporting this local business, it was NEVER an issue to look up a purchase from my rewards (phone number) or from my debit card. After researching the bag of dog food I purchased in haste, I decided to return it to purchase something else. I happened to be closer to the W. Saginaw location, so I stopped there. I was told today that with the new ownership, as Feeder's, they are no longer able to do that. I was told to go back to the store where I purchased this unopened bag of dog food. When I got to the MLK location, I was informed of the same policy. No refund. No exchange. No store credit. NOTHING. I was told the manager, Zane, would return on Monday if I wanted to talk to him. Had there been a sign, or even if I had been told this in advance when purchasing, I would feel differently. If your policy has changed, then give every customer a receipt! Instead, I will never again support this CORPORATE business again...over a 4lb bag of dog food. Sometimes, Feeder's, it is a matter of doing the right thing by your LOCAL customers!! Consider supporting local Lansing! Pet Supplies Plus, Pruess, lots of other places with way better customer service!
