I contemplated not leaving such a negative review, but since I'm seeing a lot of the same thing it's better to speak up. The little store does bait-and-switch type transactions. Will charge you much more than the listed item prices. The little store definitely needs new managers/owners.

Overpriced and rude and tried to charge me twice on items I already bought saying I didn't pay yet I came home with a recipt.This store is ridiculous and not worth spending money. I continuesly spent money at this store, so I'm not quite sure what is wrong with this store.Prices are never consistent. This place is a scam walk little further to Kelly's downtown better staff and prices and HONEST.

Some one wrote about the treatment of African Americans there and how they paraphrasing "do not like them." A good portion of their customers are African Americans and every one usually seems happy to be there. Also there is supply and demand. Prices change with the market. Don't expect everything to always stay the same price. I like it there. There is many things I like to get there. I especially love the Hershey's cotton candy ice cream.

The prices are high and they are VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL to black people. They buy food from Kroger that's on clearance and jack up the price

I go there alot when I need something and do not feel like walking to downtown. Most of the time they are friendly. They do have a credit card machine and a separate one for fs/cash assistance cards. The store needs more organization but it is a good place

I have mixed feelings about this store. I love the variety this little store has. I love how close it is to my place. I have had an issue with one of the younger men over charging when it's just him in the store. I would purchase the same items almost everytime I come into the store. When the older man is there, it's always the same price. When I would be rung up by one of the younger men, 1 day it will be a $1 more, other days I have caught him charging me $2 more. When I would say something about charging me more for my items, he would say the price went up. But I would go in the very next day, sometimes later that day and get the older man, the price would be back to the lower price. Because of this, I try not to go there and will walk double the distance/time to the other local neighborhood store.

Just an FYI, if you buy in bulk, and not grocery shop to fill your shelves, you'd be able to reduce prices because you'd be buying overall cheaper to fill your damn shelves.

I wish I could give a zero star rating but It won’t let me… but I’m not going to shop here again because I was charged $3.49 for a dozen of eggs when it said $2.99 on the register… I will be going to the bbb website to file a report!!
