I've been shopping at Lowe's on S. Cedar for over 20 years. I see these bad reviews and wonder why/how I've gotten so lucky, if thats what it is. I've always had tremendous experiences there. Most recently last week. While purchasing a new gas grill I recieved nothing but extreme understanding and help with my purchase. I remembered the names of all employees to add to this review. Thank you so much for another great experience Rob, Nancy, Amanda & Garret. I'll never shop at a different hardware/home store. Shoppers, do yourself a favor and start your search at Lowe's. If they don't have it they can get it. Plus helpful advice. Thanks again.

Never an issue with employees, always very helpful and knowledgeable, if they don't know something, they find another who may. Great people, very helpful as always.

I would rate their delivery service a zero out of 1,000! I ordered some railroad ties and paid the 149 dollars for same day delivery. No call, no show, except I did get an email that they were delivered. I called in to inquire that evening, they told me that it's some third party door dash like delivery service and that when it said delivered, that was really just my order getting picked up from the store. Still nothing came that evening, so I called the next day and after being passed around to three people, finally they found out that the "third party delivery people" had showed up but decided the load was too big to bring to me. I had paid 149 to get same day delivery and now it was the second day and still no resolution. I asked to cancel my order and they said they would have to "call corporate" to do that. They called back and said they talked to corporate and they were willing to wave the 149 fee and make sure it was delivered Wednesday by "our delivery people" instead. I agreed. I got a text that night saying my delivery would be dropped off between 9:30am and 1:30pm. I had put in my instructions that my driveway was clear and to put it on the right side under the basketball hoop. During a work meeting I was in at 9, I saw I missed a call from lowes delivery, no message or anything. I called back at noon, but no one would answer, I called back at 1, got hold of someone but they tried to transfer me to the delivery department and my call was dropped. I had to go to a meeting, I called back at 5 and they told me the "delivery team was done for the day". They told me "apparently if you don't answer their call they don't deliver", there was no message left or instructions about that in the previous night's message. I can't even cancel my order without them "talking to corporate". They get one more chance tomorrow to get this here, but I am never using them again for delivery. The people I talked to were nice, but powerless and clueless about how to fix this situation. I had plans to do the work earlier in the week on my project, but now it's going to be late in the week before the things I ordered are here.

I’ve been buying materials through Lowe’s for years. These past few months, Shanon at The Pro services desk has not only screwed up my every delivery on four straight jobs but also screwed up up points which you get for the amount of money you spend. I would highly recommend people use Menards.
