Not a good experience from the beginning. When we first got there, we were told to go around the circle to get pointed in the right direction to go to our rv site but someone was hooking up their car to their rv in the middle of the road and we had to wait for over 20 minutes before they moved so we could get by. We get to our site and hook up and had no Wi-Fi, called and they said they reset it but it still wouldn’t work. We finally got Wi-Fi the next afternoon. We like to empty our tanks the day before we leave especially if we are leaving early or it’s supposed to rain. Well, while emptying the tanks, their side of the sewer wouldn’t let us drain the tanks and had to wait again and ended up having to use a different sewer hookup. They say that there are picnic tables and firepits at all sites. I did not see any firepits on any of the campsites near us. Not the worst experience I have had but definitely not a good one. For the price they charge, it is not worth it. Will not be returning to that campground.

Awesome environment with great employees and owners who can be very sympathetic to personal situations. Site has laundry and showers, sewage dump station, awesome game room, wifi throughout the park, and just a generally friendly and fun campground. Sidenote, there's also great fishing!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. What we didn’t like: lots were very small and rvs were parked so that doors faced each other. Fine if your friends or family. Intrusive and uncomfortable if your not. We ended up down at the end near their “rv storage” area which is basically old rvs that are just parked out in the open. There are trails to walk on but didn’t look or feel safe. I have to get up in the middle of the night to take our pups out it’s very dark, no street lights at all didn’t feel safe. The next night I made them hold it all night. With some work this could be a cute park. Not on our favorite places to stay list.

I’m currently residing, pulled in 8/18/23.The staff is impressively courteous and accommodating. Always ready to help you. The bathrooms are clean well maintained. It’s 20minutes from my work but outside the hustle and bustle of lansing. The owner is very kind and respectful. He is also quick to act on complaints from what I have seen. Friendly area. I haven’t had any issues with anyone cutting through my site or loud noises at night. Rambunctious kids are usually near the office and pool/playground area but quiet when passing campers. This is a great and safe campground all around. Would highly recommend.

Great campground with friendly staff. I was allowed to drive the entire campground to pick my site before paying. Plenty of amenities: laundry room, pool, playground for the kids, kayak and paddle boat rentals, a store with various goodies including firewood cheaper than most stores. Full electric RV sites all the way to primitive sites in the woods. Honestly, too much to talk about in the review. Definitely going again!Nearby activities: Close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, fast food and movie theaters. The staff gives you a list with addresses and phone numbers upon check in.

Very nice owners who accommodated us last minute. I have grave concerns for the half dozen or so, permanent resident children who were unattended all day at the pool. The children were all nice and mostly respectful. Feels a little like the Lost Boys from Hook. But they asked us for food, towels, and to "watch them" while their parents "went to the store", all day. My heart goes out to these neglected kids. They treated my wife like their mom. Desperate for attention and care. Otherwise the facility was a great family owned campground.

We have always enjoyed our stays at Cottonwood. The owners and staff are wonderful. They go the extra mile for campers. They work hard to be sure you have a site you like. The location is beautiful also with shady sites. They keep it very clean. The runoff when it rains is a problem with some lake sites, but we just put boards to step on when that happens. We like the reception we get for our TVs and computers. We enjoy the ball games and fireworks too. It’s a lovely place to walk and has rustic camping. We get sites that have water and electric. We have never had a problem with either and they have a sign up sheet for gray and black water removal at a reasonable price. Their store has necessary items at a decent price. It’s a nice place to stay the night or for the summer. It’s conveniently located in Lansing. We like it and have stayed often.

Great location the lake definitely isn't like more of a pond but you can rent paddle boats or take a kayak out we used an inflatable raft, sites are on the small side but everyone was friendly no drama kids had a lot of fun best part is it was only a half-hour from Grand Ledge where we were rock climbing lakeside is not exactly 10 friendly very very hard ground because it's meant for RVs so I can't comment too much on the tent sites because we got a lakeside siteNearby activities: Grand Ledge is nearby where there is Fitzgerald and oak Park. Oak Park is the only place with outdoor rock climbing in Southern Michigan.

Quiet, For the two nights I stayed.. Thank you. BrandinoNearby activities: If it rains, no worries. You're in Lansing so there's no reason to be bored..

Alot of unsupervised kids and I mean young. Playing in pond on peoples boat in the pool unsupervised. The age range varied. I saw children frim 5 ti 12 years old. They were cursing abd disrespectable. Cottinwood staff did not care. As far as the adults, they were ok wirh a drink in hand and no consern fit there children. What can I say. SEE COTTONWOODS reply to this post. It is almost sarcastic. They were informed of children on boat and in pool. Shame on them for saying parents responsibility. When someone drowns well see who's problem it is. The small children could have drown. I have nothing to gain from this post only trying to protect childen. Shame on who ever responded and lied about not being informed. As for the foul mouth children in the pool, i did not mention finding 2 boys NOT CHILDREN in ladies bathroom. Management needs to be a little less like trailer trash.

Great display. Loved the music. We do feel the cost is a bit high. We are supportive of the display hopefully they can find a way to charge less. ✌️?⛄
