Have always shopped “big box stores”, never again. The people at Lanes went out of their way to get us an appliance , with installation, as quickly as possible. Everyone we worked with was helpful, polite and knowledgeable!
Will return again when I need an appliance and will share with our friends!

Our washing machine was acting strangely and the repairman gave us a very logical explanation. After 18 years of reliable service it needed a number of parts replaced. We decided on getting a new one instead. Luckily, Lane was having a sale so we bought new washer and dryer.

Lane’s Appliance and Repair was very easy and pleasant to work with. The dryer we bought is perfect for our use. The installer was very professionally and informative about the use of the machine. After installing the machine, I heard an unfamiliar noise. A repairman, Gabe, was sent out and issue fixed. Thank you all…

Can’t imagine ANY OTHER COMPANY whose service can compare with Lane’s Appliance Sales and Service! They are so pleasant, respectful and go beyond with their service. They are skilled, efficient and delightful to have working in your home. They are the only company I ever call when appliances need a thorough check up and repair.

Lane's did a good job troubleshooting and replacing the ice maker in our refrigerator. We have used them in the past and have always been pleased with their service.

Service was very prompt. Tech was very knowledgeable, courteous, neat and business like. Bill for the sevice call and labor a little pricey; but you can’t function long without a refrigerator.
My only issue was the internal drinking water function didn’t work after the service call. I tried to reset it, held the button for a few minutes to purge air from the lines; and finally pulled out the refrigerator and immediately noticed a “kinked” line. I straightened it out , duct taped to the refrigerator back — problem solved

Rather expensive but the service was very good and professional. Was informed of the complete price for repair up front. No surprises.

Lanes came out to fix our fridge. Within hours of the technician leaving we had water pouring out the bottom. Called them back and their response was just towel up the water, no one can come back for a few days. (!) When someone did come back they were able to get the issue fixed. Then two months later the original issue (our fridge not staying cold) came up again. We discovered it after coming back from vacation, about ten days over our 60 day free call-back warranty on their work. Tried to talk to the manager - the issue may have begun within the warranty period while we were out of town. Seems reasonable they would work with us to fix the problem within the warranty, but they refused. Rather than pay another $120 just to have them diagnose the problem (was it even properly diagnosed in the first place?) we called a different company, saving us $50(!!) just for the diagnosis. Not impressed with Lanes customer service at all!
UPDATE: when a new technician came out they found that a simple connector to keep the fan blowing cold air had been put together… but not *snapped* together when Lane’s appliance came out to fix our fridge. Over time with opening and closing the fridge/freezer it had loosened leading to a warm fridge. That’s what Lane’s refused to make right! They instead wanted to charge us $120 to fix what they did wrong!
I highly recommend Dick’s Appliance. Their initial eval fee was $70 and they offer a 90 day warranty on all their work.

Appointment moved from am to noon then 3pm. Very expensive for 20 min of work, and replacement of a small inexpensive part. The tech was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

Our dryer began "squawking & squealing." We made an appointment with Lanes ....about a week out. Andy called 15 minutes before arrival, early in the time window we were given, and arrived right away. We described the problem, Andy quickly disassembled the dryer & found the problem (seized idler pulley).
He had the part in his truck and fixed the problem and finished the whole job in about 40 minutes.
I'm handy, and in the past have fixed these things myself, but it would have taken me half the day to figure how to get to the problem, and then who knows how long to find the part and complete the repair. It was well worth the repair price to not have to hassle with this and just let a professional deal with it.
Andy was polite, very professional, and our dogs liked him too!
