I've used Cooper Auto Body on two occasions. Both times my expectations were exceeded. They were able to get my car in quickly both times and both times the car was ready sooner than expected. The quality of the repairs was excellent. The staff is very nice and they have rental cars, at an incredibly reasonable rate. The whole experience was so convenient and pleasant!

They do good work and are pretty responsive. I am satisfied with their work and bringing my car back to "new" before the damage happened

TJ Stowe at Coopers has worked worked on a few cars for me . They all looked great when he was finished. If I ever need more auto body work, I will have him do it.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cooper Body Shop. Less than a year after they repaired my Lexus, the work they did fell apart. Despite an insurance claim of over $13,000, they used glue to fix the car, which is unacceptable. When I brought it back, they accused me of taking my car elsewhere to fix the wheel flare, which wasn’t true they were the only ones who touched my car. The person I dealt with was rude and dismissive, even though they admitted the job wasn’t done properly. This was particularly frustrating because my car was brand new, and this was the only accident it had been in. I would strongly advise others not to go there.

Kent, a customer service expert, was extremely helpful. He helped me every step of the way. He eased a stressful situation into a smooth experience. He listened, acted, and delivered top of the line service. Not only that, the body work was flawless!

UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST.
Working with this shop was an absolute nightmare. Several delays that were never communicated to me and every time I called they would tell me it would be done first thing next morning. They said this 4 consecutive days and would always promise to call with updates, but in the 6 weeks they had my car they did not call me once. I would not have even known that my car was done had I not called an hour before they closed.
When I would call, Alfredo was the only associate I spoke to who wasn't outright rude to me over the phone. Bruce tried to pass the buck on every single issue and nobody took any accountability for any of the issues.
When you do not have your car, getting places requires planning and coordination. Those efforts were constantly rendered useless because Cooper kept giving me false timelines. I wouldn't be so furious if they would have just communicated anything to me. A simple phone call to address the multiple delays would have allowed me to plan better and that is customer service 101, but they refused to communicate anything to me except for lies.
I have worked in Auto sales in the Lansing area for many years. One of the dealers I worked for sent all their body work to Cooper, so when clients asked for my recommendation for body work, I would send them to Cooper. God only knows how much business I've sent them over the years, but now I feel like I need to call up each of those clients and offer them an apology because if their experience was half as bad as mine that certainly reflects poorly on me.
Luckily there are many body shops in Lansing.

Austin Landry gave me a thorough quote in 30 minutes. Other body shops I visited wanted me to come back in 3 days.

This is the second time i had to take advantage of the excellent team and work at Cooper’s!! I had two accidents in 3 months. Each time i received personal attention and great completion of the repair work! My car looked new each time!!!! Thanks!!!

Professional and excellent repairs. Staff are respectful and helpful. My car was delayed waiting for parts but I was able to rent a car from them after my insurance rental ran out. My car had the rear end basically trashed but now car looks great. Thank you.

Cannot recommend Coopers enough. They made sure I got quality parts and not stuck with cheap parts the insurance company wanted to use. They stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. Great customer service.

My issue was only minor damage, but it was handled professionally and quickly. On top of that, the cost was well below what I expected.

Cooper Body Shop does great work. Trevor was excellent to work with. Got my Jeep in and repairs were done a day earlier than expected. Great place to take your vehicles for repairs when accidents happen! Thank you Bruce and Trevor for your professional work!

Excellent work from start to finish. Sent a thank you card, I had a spot that looked unfamiliar on my vehicle after it was completed. I asked them about it, no issues no attitude no questions, they took it back and handled it! Could have been my fault, theirs... the thing is, they handled it like professionals and that was great! Service should be about the customer and Cooper showed that! Alfredo was available whenever I had a question or concern and that too is a big part of customer service. My mechanic recommended this facility, I hope to never see them again but if I need to see a body shop...I plan on Cooper servicing my vehicle. Oh.... the vehicle looked like new lol, forgot that impt detail.
