If you find yourself in the situation of selling a car for salvage, Cash For Cars is the way to go.
Long story short, my son totaled his car. It was a stressful time and not a situation I have ever been in. Once the body shop determined the car was totaled, they told me I had to salvage the car. So, with the help of Google, I reached out to all the major salvage companies online. When I got to CFC, they beat everybody’s offer. Plain and simple. They assured me when the car was picked up to be towed, that there would be no haggling or hassle. I guess this happens sometimes, where the tow truck driver may try to drive the pay out down for their commission. Absolutely not the case in my experience.
Everybody I spoke to was kind and helpful and did their best to meet my expectations of what I wanted to get out of the car, so I booked them.
I still had other companies calling me in the meantime.c trying to haggle and they just couldn’t beat CFC.
The process could not have been more seamless! The car had to be towed, I set up the appt, met the driver who was great! He was charming and very friendly. He gave me a check and I gave him the key and signed title to the vehicle and voila, this chapter of our lives is over.

There was one negative that I was not informed of, they are cash for cars but provide a check instead The check takes 24 hours to clear so cashing the same day is not an option for everyone. They pay for a service with Bank of America, so if they haven’t input the information by a certain time that day, it will be there the next business day, in most cases.
Other then the check, the process was pretty straight forward, they keep you informed on what they do and what they need. I received a check for the price that was promised, I did not have to haggle with driver about the price they promised, which mattered to me a lot.

Cash for Cars did an excellent job from evaluating and pricing the car to closing the sale. Copar, the company that picked up the car jumped the gun by picking up the car before scheduling me to be there with the title and the chance to take the license plate off of the car. I mailed the signed title and received my check and license plate back in the mail. So, it all turned out fine. I would certainly recommend C for C in the future!Service: Vehicle wrecking
